Halle Berry has launched her own perfume line...and it's called "Halle." Yeah, someone got paid a bunch of money to think that up. And someone else got paid a bunch more money to design that bottle. And even more people are being paid even more money to market the shit. Who says the economy is struggling?

It smells like failed marriage and breast milk.
"Celebrity branding" is out of control-- to be sure. Especially considering how many of these 'celebrities' are just 'D-listers' or wannabees on the Hollywood peripheral fringe.
And although Halle Berry is a card-carrying A-Lister to be sure, "Halle" perfume is no less laughable.
And yet, the glut of celebrity "ego" fragrances isn't nearly as offensive as the celebrity 'fashion collection'. Seems any celeb with some cash and connections can slap a few basic items together and call it a designer collection. No skill, talent, POV or taste necessary.
I suppose they've got to keep the sweatshops in business... but frankly I wish they'd give it a rest.
