She's always been like this. The real acting goes on when she pretends being a nice, down to earth person. This is a self-absorbed uberbitch if there ever was one.
I work in post production and have had the pleasure of meeting Kate W on three occasions. I have to say she's always impressed me by her easy-going sensible nature. She's completely grounded and quite humble-- all things considered. No doubt her happiness with her family is a factor and when she's not working she's no different than any other wife and mother... cooking, taking care of the home, getting the kids to school, attending school functions, etc. Although she could have a legion of staff she makes it a point to do as much as possible for herself and her family. Hate to burst your bubble, Dish, but this lady's the real deal, and deserving of the good things that have come her way in recent years.
She has never struck me as the conceited, kiss my ass because I'm famous type of person. Of course I dont know her so I could be wrong, but I've never read any bad press on her.
totally!!! she is sincere, honest, a hard worker and fucking good at her job. did you see her call over to her dad during her oscar speech? you can't knock that. thats what she is like. she's a true artist and so is her father (and the rest of her family). she was born into that sort of family. sorry, you can't knock it. it's just the way she is. she and meryl streep, the only two real people in fantasy land.

No way she reads Goop - I think the only people who read Goop are the ones who hate it/love to hate it. Kate might have better things to do.
I'd probably scowl if i was cold and constantly being followed around since the Oscar's too.
