A friend of Bridget's had something to say about that remark Gisele made concerning Bridget's son. Giselle thinks the baby is 100% hers, she feels like it. Bridget's buddy talked to Page 6: One friend yapped, "If Gisele loved Bridget's child like he was '100 percent her own,' then she would not talk about him in the press. Discretion and respect are not either of Gisele or Tom's virtues, as was evidenced even when the child was still unborn and they publicly flaunted their relationship without any discretion whatsoever. Don't you think Jack will grow up and read her comments and find them disrespectful to him and his mother? If Tom is such a great father as everyone likes to say, then you would think that he'd respect the privacy of his young child and would ask his wife not to use his son as a publicity prop and a subject of public discussion. Is she is so desperate for attention that she can't find anything more productive to talk about other than Bridget's child?"*
She ended the tirade by saying "Hey Gisele -- real mothers don't call their kids 'it.'"

Ha! See? I said that too. Real moms never call their baby "it"..they don't call any one's baby "it." It's just instinctive. Only people with no children ever say that. I have no doubt this time the "source" is not some fictional character. Bridget is so mad right now, but, she has to compose herself before she speaks to any media. Good grief, Bridget doesn't even call that baby John, she calls him Jack. Gisele was so out of line. It makes me wonder if Gisele is one of those passive aggressive troublemakers. They're real bitches, those kind. You have to play your cards right. Sic 'em, Bridget.

I don't think Gisele is a bitch or weird about the baby. The 'friend' who spoke about it is almost certainly fictitious.
YOU try speaking a second language under intense scrutiny and see how well YOU do. I think she's decent till I see firm, not irrational, evidence to the contrary.
(But I thought Fishsticks was okay till Goop came out so what do I know?)
Oh please, Bridget needs to get over it. It's obvious that this "source" is her. No one likes it when their baby-daddy is happy and has a decent woman, but at least Gisele cares for the kid. I'm no fan of big bird Gisele, but she seems like she genuinely cares for the kid. It would be in Bridget's best interst to continue keeping her mouth shut, because it'll only back-fire on her. No one likes immature baby-momma's. She needs to move on.
BTW Gisele's first language is Brazilian Portuguese and her English is pretty bad and i am sure she was translating her thoughts from Portuguese to English when she said "it", it is a mistake my husband and some other foreigners I know, make. Just a thought....

Even if, for the sake of argument, the "it" comment was a simple "I can't speak English" mistake, the "that child is mine" comment is inexcusable.
And as far as the source giving Tom shit about it, maybe he didn't know about the comment until the article came out like the rest of us? I'm sure he wasn't handed a transcript of the interview immediately following. He may have told her when he found out to keep her yapper shut about his kid being hers as soon as he heard what she said. And they didn't "flaunt" their relationship, they went out occasionally and were snapped doing it. They never spoke publicly about it. Bridget was the one doing the "life without Dad" covers and Tom never retaliated as he damned well could have.
(Yes, I know, I'm a Tom fan. Sue me. I just don't think he deserves the "bad dad" rap he's gotten. However, if it ever comes out that he dumped BM over the pregnancy, I'll gladly join the deadbeat dad brigade with the rest of you.)
As I said yesterday, its one thing to say "I will love and care for him as my own, but I realize he has a mother and doesn't need another," and its quite another to say what she said. Gisele is a bitch.
I'm not a Gisele fan, but I can see how the language barrier could be confused in that last part of the statement. In French "il" can mean he or "it" I wonder if it is the same in Portuguese? Either way, it was creepy of her to talk about Bridget's kid like that to a widely published mag. And I'm a Pats fan too, but any guy that leaves their knocked up girlfriend and then parades around with a supermodel in public is a douche.
In all fairness..Bridget looks like a bitch too. Gisele is still out of line.

I read in an article published shortly after the Tom/Gisele wedding, that Gisele grabs the baby whenever there are paps around. It's like poking Bridget in the eye.
Face it. Gisele is one UGLY woman and Bridget is more hotter than her. Gisele is probably jealous that she did not have Tom's 1st born son. They are both bitches and Brady is not as hot as everyone thinks.

See? I had a Brazilian bf and he had been here 10 years before we hooked up - he never spoke English perfectly.
Unless you speak another language and are aware of excellent grammar, you WILL make mistakes according to your native language.
I know many Europeans who say, "I am born in x... because that's how many languages say it. That's how I can tell they're not native English speakers if they have no accent. In English we say "was born".
I studied in France and can pass for French because my accent/pronunciation are great but I trip myself up on grammar - I just don't know all the ins and outs of grammar well enough to pass as French.
That's just my experience and since I have lots of friends whose second language is English, I hear this kind of thing all the time.
I used to judge their meaning according to their English too, but realized it was a waste of time since they can't always say something the way a native speaker would.
Ok not defending anyone here, but I am a Spanish speaking person, and have had knowledge of the English language ever since I was a kid. I know my grammar VERY well. I started speaking fluently when I was 13, I'm 32 now. I still have trouble with my pronouns, mixing up the he's with the she's, even though I have only had English speaking people around me for the last 4 years. With that said, I use "it" in English when referring to "the baby", and I use the male/female equivalent in Spanish as well (el/la). I am not a mother, but I do believe there is a difference on how you say it, which not always translates well when it's written.

One last thing. The Page 6 article that has this story also says this: "Brady and Moynahan broke up before the "Lord of War" star learned she was pregnant and he began dating Bundchen. Moynahan gave birth to John on Aug. 22, 2007."
Conveniently left out by most.
