An expert on an education website says the first part of Rihanna's new tatoo means "forgiveness, honesty, suppression and control" and is from Gita, a holy Hindu Sanskrit scripture, but says it is "incorrectly written".

What it really says is "Bitch boy bad for my career." When she grows a brain, she'll be sorry she wrote ignorant shit all over her body.

RiRi is not ever going to grow a brain. She is pretty and can sing, so that is pretty much all she needs.
Now then, can someone 'splain to me why these lovely young women are getting tons of verbiage (in whatever language) tattooed all over? It started with Angelina, I think, then you see Megan Fox with a small BOOK on her, which I would love to read...BRAILLE style...now RiRi...I just don't get it.
Im gonna have to disagree with you there Eric...pretty?? i think not.
Just because you have a good set of pipes, a good voice and a pretty face doesn't mean you are even as smart as a bag of rocks. Herein is the proof.
I will never understand why beautiful women like her and Angelina continue to get tattoos all over their bodies. I guess some people find it attractive?
I love tattos, if they're done right, I don't like wen you put one here and there, it looks like a scratch pad. I like full sleeves and chest pieces and stuff, which I guess is even more hardcore, whatever though.
oops, when
She's a trashy whore that wants the world to pity her because she was slapped. Big fuckin whoop, she probably deserved it.
heh. Like my friend's friend who got a back piece that says "I love rice" in Japanese.
Speaking as a Hindu woman who has tattoos, I am not only offended that she didnt do any research on this(or at least pay someone else to) but chose to get ANY sacred text below the belt which is offensive even if the script were done correctly. Religious text should NEVER be taken lightly.
Anon 7:04 you have to understand this "culture"...anything and everything is fair game. I feel pretty certain that the religious aspect of this text completely escaped this vacuous little girl. If you spend enough time around the USA, you're likely to see almost ANYTHING tattooed on someone! Don't get offended, though, because these types rarely think about what they are doing, they just do it.
Real tattoo art and tattoo artists rock. A tattoo that has real meaning rocks. A rememberance RIP tattoo can bring tears to your eyes. Idiots who tattoo launguages they don't speak, things they don't know the meaning behind and cute cartoons they're into when they're 19 are pathetic. It's like tattooing "IM STOOPID right on your forehead for the world to see.
brings to mind "Forgetting Sarah Marshall"...when Sarah tells Aldus (Russell Brand) off and explains all his idiotic tatoos to him and tells him they are jibberish. Know what your body will be saying, it will be there even when you die!
Mine is just a tribute to the man who won't give up his freedom of mind and soul, that's why I chose to use the 2112 Starman. That and Rush is one of my all time favorites, and 2112 is my favorite Rush album.
But I would never ink my body with something I don't understand...or cute cartoons like DD said...or worse go do a drunk/revenge tattoo. now THAT's dumb.
Meissa, it that your tat in the pic? I like it.
And I can tell it's not a stock tat. How can people accept those mass quantity things?
I hate when women get roses, that is so common & unoriginal. The really hideous ones are the ones on old men that got them back when they were in the navy, etc that have faded and turned into big green blobby messes.
I love a well executed and thought out tattoo. Meissa2112 has a beautiful example of one! What I don't understand is the relatively recent fad of getting words, quotes, passages of scripture, chapters out of books, the menu from Nathan's...whatever...tattooed on yer bod. Didn't Britney Spears get a tattoo that she thought was some spiritual thing that turned out to be something odd? RESEARCH IT, people! If you see a bunch of Chinese people pointing at you and laughing, you might want to get a translation of your "cool" tattoo! Just sayin'...
Thanks guys! Yes that's my ink on the pic. Now my christian best friend dissaproves of the star in the circle. Whatever!
