Peggy and I went for a ride today. This is my friend Jim's house. He lives in the next town over. I like Jim, he's rough as a cob, but, good hearted. He has a serious yard disorder, but, you can always find anything you need at Jim's house. I saw a wonder horse and an old door I need. Yep, when the weather warms up, I'll have to pay Jim a visit. It doesn't look that different than Mom's yard before I cleared it. 'Cept, she didn't have anything good.

It looks like a 365 day yard sale!
It is. Trash and treasue in Papa Mo's yard. That's what he calls it. He cracks me up, he loves bartering and bickering.
Cool! Home based business on the lawn, dual purpose, makes money and no mowing needed!!
I got my eye on that bookshelf over there.
Wow i can't believe you guys are allowed to have your properties looking like that! Where i live (NZ) it wouldnt be legal as it is considered a health hazard..
It depends on where you live. If you're in a very rural area, you can usually get away with it if no one is complaining.
I live in a small town, too, but it wouldn't be allowed here, either. People would complain and the city would send you nasty notes until you cleaned it up. If you ignore the notes, they will clean it up for you then send you a bill for doing so.
Ahh yes that is a good point..NZ is TINY compared to the US..
I have a friend who's yard was like that. He couldn't part with anything, might be usefull someday you know. It was such a mess the neighbors complained and the city gave him 30 days to clean it up. He did, now it looks pretty good. The inside of his house is another story!
I dunno. (Tilts head) If you squint at it, it looks like Impressionism.
