Lazy Guntown Sunday

Alissa and I played "Will It Float" with golf balls and cedar mulch. We made caught rolly poly bugs, made dirt pies and ate Pop Rocks without washing our hands first. We lived.
*
Mom and Lis had a funeral for an unknown cat today. I got to "dig de ho." Lissa sang, ring around the rosies, ashes, ashes, we all fall down"..seemed appropriate. Mom will be 80 tomorrow. Lissa is tall, but, mom is only 4'10''. There are no pics of me today because Mom can't figure out how to push the button on the camera. She puts it up to her face and looks through it, sees nothing and says it's no good. It's digital.

I love everything you post...Heck I even love crabbie. But my favorites are ALWAYS your stories about your family. These pics warm my heart. Your daughter is priceless and mom is always smiling and adorable too.

You really need to think about writing a book. It would sell well...

Awwe. I feel awful because yesterday it was 70, and today it's 40. Stuck indoors and I hate it. I love your short Grammy. Mine too was 4' 10", whats up with that? Yer little kid is so cute!! DD I love your family, though I haven't met Crabby yet.

Wow! Lissa has really grown! She is such a doll. I loved how you played in the dirt and had fun with her. Your stories are always the best.

I just have to say that Lissa is adorable and I would probably give my left arm to have her natural hair color - absolutely gorgeous! Nice to hear stories about people just living and enjoying life :)

Yeah, Frimmy, Magnolia. You have a sharp eye. We call 'em Tulip Trees here. I've cut that thing to the ground three times and it keeps coming right back. It looks good now though.

not sure if you will see this DD - I hope so. I don't get online as much on weekends, although it is Tuesday today lol.

Anyhow.... - My sentiments exactly like the rest - I love reading stories about Lissa. I remember way back when she was born and I know from that moment, she had you wrapped around her little finger and that you would adore and love her to bits and you have.

She is truly a hoot and keeps you dancing on your toes which is always good for the soul. She is growing like a weed.

Your mom - awww. Treasure her DD, as you know, I don't have my mom and they are such special people and although I know your mom can get the best of you at times, just smile and friggin put the digital camera on auto timer lol.
