Nutless wonders pelt Jessica with Q-tips

That Q-tip thing started when Zac Efron was photographed with wax in his ears, needing some basic hygiene instructions from his mom, but, I don't know wtf Jessica Simpson has to do with it. She could hardly walk for the paps and had to have body guards get her and Tony through the snapping flashing screaming crowd. It's easy to make fun of Jess, she's a simple minded (read slow) Texan..but, no wonder she thinks she's hot shit. These paps are vicious. Hollywood has no balls at all to allow them free reign like this. Where does anyone get off being in someone's face and throwing crap at them?

I hate those turds. Its one thing to take a picture, its another to chase them down, say horrible things and throw things just to get a reaction, scale fences and trespass, and invade private events. They're cockroaches. I sometimes feel guilty coming to gossip sites knowing I'm contributing to that.

At least we know about them now. California needs some legislation. Why are they so ball-less?

Appeasement DD, that's the way of the west coast and progressive Govt.

They definitely should have some sort of legislation about this.

I'm not a big Jessica fan, but enough is enough when it comes to the vermin known as paparazzi. There has to be some common sense applied here...name one other profession where you can intentionally cause others emotional and physical distress and get by with it (other than Carrot Top or Criss Angel). There should be a one month open season on these camera toting thugs each year. After folks bag their limit for a couple of years, the numbers should become much more manageable.

A pap season. I like it. No liscence required becuse they are vermin.

This incident took place outside the Beverly Hills restaurant, 'Beso'. Just as you'll find outside the even more famous celebrity watering hole known as 'Ivy' over on Robertson, the place is literally crawling with paparazzi 24/7.

I know, because I live in LA and see it every day. There are certain places in the city that celebrities (most of whom live here) know to avoid if they don't want the overwhelming attention of the paps, the throngs of celebrity seeking autograph hunters and crazed fans.

As for the vids of random celebrities you see being chased by paps from point A to B, you can bet your last dollar they notified the pap agencies *in advance* of their whereabouts. It's customary and expected. Usually an assistant takes care of it, but some celebs don't even bother with the pretense of having someone call on their behalf. Certain celebs actually feign annoyance at attention they brought on themselves.

Doubtful? Start paying attention. You never see the paps chasing A-listers who aren't known attention whores. And if a celebrity is so put-out by the trappings of stardom and the ensuing attention, they certainly have the means to HIRE A FUCKING BODYGUARD. (or fuck a higher bodyguard)

I'm surprised the readers here so sympathetic to this situation. California needs plenty of new legislation, but they sure as hell don't need to waste time or resources on protecting Jessica Simpson -or the likes of her- from a Q-tip assault.

BTW- Idon'tlikeyouinthatway has pictures some douchebag took while sticking his camera up her dress. She didn't flash herself getting out of her car, she wasn't wearing a shirt as a dress, ala Britney, she was just standing there and this pervert stuck his camera up her skirt. People get arrested for sticking their cell phones up women's skirts and taking pictures, why not this guy?

"Start paying attention." ??? WTF have I been doing here for two and half years? No one has the right to be literally IN YOUR FACE (so close they have actually hit people in the face with cameras) and throwing garbage at you. Jesus.

You know, some people just strike me as being obnoxiously stupid. Do you really think this girl or her people CALLED for this? Going to the "in" places is what celebrities do...but no one can honestly condone what these buzzards do. I think we have legislation already on the books here in Cali that deal with assholes invading your privacy, the cops just need to enforce them a little. I don't begrudge anyone their slice of the pie, but nimrods who throw trash at people just to get a reaction should be snap kicked to the groin and then kneed to the forehead...just sayin...

I don't feel sorry for Jessica Simpson, she is disgusting, she has based her entire career on the idea girls are stupid. I'd like to throw something at her too.

I saw Woody Harrellson's reaction to a pap who would not leave him alone recently in an airport (even though Woody was with his 12 year old daughter). The TMZ guy was following him even though Woody was obviously pissed and didn't want to talk. Yeah, so Woody gets physical. Why didn't this TMZ guy just take his picture and get the hell out of a father's way? He wanted Woody to react -- and he got what he wanted.

"Varmint" season should be year round. You thin out the herd and do quality control. Leave only the ones with a brain. That should be about 10 to 12. I believe celebrities should be able to handle that!

I really felt badly for her in that clip. She might be a dunce, but she always comes across as a genuinely nice person. The press is just vicious towards her.
