Redmond O'Neal was allowed to leave jail for a few hours over the weekend to visit his mom Farrah Fawcett who is in the middle of a long bout of dying. Don't worry though: the visit was supervised by sheriff's deputies, so Redmond was unable to steal anything or get his hands on any of his mother's sweet, sweet medication. By the way, those who are poised to express outrage over taxpayer money being spent so Redmond could visit his mom: the whole deal, which cost about $1300, was paid for by the family. The O'Neals may be scumbag drug addicts but you can't accuse them of leeching off the people.

A prime example of how two attractive people can create a super ugly child. He looks like F, but has R's coloring, I guess. What a loser, but I'm not suprised that he has gone down this path with Ryan's fabulous parenting skills.

I would be completely heartbroken if my child went down that path. Very sad. Farrah deserves better, or maybe not, she raised him.
Lost friends to crystal meth...it's an insidious beast. I know this kid probably loves his parents, but he really REALLY needs to be in rehab somewhere far away from them and his evil homies.

he is named for Farrah's father & grandfather. he does look like both of them. Didn't mix well, kinda like Bruce & Demi. Sadly, if she wasn't dying, he would not have been allowed to leave jail. We will be hearing about her death most anytime now. I always liked her. Bad choice in O'Neal tho.
Please, people... don't feel sorry for this slime. He's no "unfortunate". He had every opportunity in the world and he just flushed it down the john like so much residual shite.
But to reiterate what's really sad; The only reason this 24-shots-at-rehab loser even consented to visit his mom-- he knew that being in the last stages of her battle with cancer she'd have the hardest of the hardcore painkillers at her bedside.
So what if the deputies were standing by? You just know the drugs were all this pathetic shmuck was thinking about-- full stop.
What a loser. Someday, maybe in 20 years, that boy will wake up and realize the additional burden he put on his Mother's mind as she lay dying.
