Puddy Tat!!

Awwwwwww....Every cat I ever owned either fucked off or got squashed by an errant cement truck. Now I have a dog.

Oh dear, I guess I should have taken it down a notch on my debut contribution. There is Sushi (aka Mother Tuna), I also have her son and the wiener dog. I'll choose more carefully next week. I think her friend was a chipmunk. I'm fairly new to life in the woods and just yesterday my daughter came in and announced there were bones in her favorite part of the yard. I gave her a glove and she actually took care of it herself. We're getting use to the "circle of life". Mostly the "forest kittens", (deer) they walk right up to my window and look in. I'm a city girl so all this is new to me.
P.S. I'm totally over my nature lifestyle, I can't even get a pizza delivered!! I'm outta here in one year when I'm done with school.

It's okay, cats are killers. They only get one chance here, then it's-- declawed! My pet squirrel is on here somewhere. Oh, and BeeBee my sweet rat. She's watching me type this.

I'm over the nature and farm girl thing too, but, I can't get out of here. Sigh.

Hey Shelly, watch out for the "forest kittens", they're only mildly annoying when they eat your plants/flowers, but if they get too brave they'll bowl you over to get in the house and can get very mean. And that's aside from the fact that they try to take you out when you're in your car.

On the plus side, they're delicious.
:D

Yeah Anon 3:17, I learned the hard way. I use to feed them and the birds when I first moved here. They are very aggressive and sometimes they would fight near my sliding glass door. Then I found out the bears like to ransack bird feeders, so I stopped feeding all of them. A bear also flattened my metal garbage can last spring, and we have a family of fox in the neighborhood. And like you DD, I'm stuck here too, I really don't see property value going up enough in a year or two to leave. At least my kid loves her school. I'm in Michigan, so it's pretty bad here. One odd thing: my daughter has a "holiday" off school for the opening of rifle season. Isn't that weird?

You know you're in the sticks when they get hunting season off. I'm in Iowa. Home of tornados, corn, white tail deer and hogs. They toss in a cow once in awile to break the monotony.
