Amy Winehouse's mother (or "mum" as them toofless Brits say) told Closer magazine the root cause of her daughter's drinking problem:
Two of her closest friends are going over to [St. Lucia to] try to calm her down a bit. I think it will make a big difference because in the past few weeks she's been bored.
What reason does Amy Winehouse have to be bored? Oh right: she has to live with herself every day. That would do it.

she is so ugly, she wasn't the best looking when she was not a crack whore but at least she had an original look, now she is repulsive.
Yeah, I'm sure Amy's friends talking to her will cure her of her crack addiction, drinking problem, and whatever other addictions she has.
I'm sick of this hag and I'm sick of the enablers who keep making excuses for her.
When I first heard Rehab I thought it was stunning. Knowing what I now know about poor Amy, I find it a difficult listen.
Why are people even still talking about this waste of sperm & egg? She was a 1-hit wonder and isn't known for anything now but her drug abuse, dirty hair, body and ballet flats. She is a nobody, never will amount to shit.
She's pathetic in every aspect.
So, she's an actual woman and not a drag queen?
Why are the St. Lucian's allowing her to remain there? She can't be good for tourism - every time she goes in the ocean she creates an oil slick requiring the beaches to be closed.
