You know what I find interesting? A couple of years ago, when Lost was the big thing, the media shoved Evangeline Lilly down our throats with rapid speed until we could scarcely breathe. She was touted as the sexiest thing, the most beautiful woman and put at the head of fictional lists and every magazine presented a photo of her. America said "No thanks." Proving we are not sheep, we are people who will think for ourselves. Now she's gracing the cover of Women's Health. Excellent photo shopping won't help. We don't care.

It sounds like she's commenting on the corporate "imaging" most/all celebs are pushed into, and how they're not personally obligated to give anything more to the public.
Only a portion of the population truly want to be famous and not all of them could handle the stress and manipulation. I'm one who would never want to be a celeb. I used to be recognized by random members of the public when I was a successful athlete and I hated it. I wanted to perform at my sport and be recognized at events, but not when I was out with my kids and husband. People have expectations of you that are completely ridiculous and frankly, they can fuck themselves with a large, sharp object.
Frankly, Anonymous 1:55, get over yourself.
One Angelina is one too many. Besides, it doesn't help that Lily has the acting range of a spatula. Whatever that means.

Evangeline has a huge ego. She's always talking about how hard it is to be soooo pretty. I read a quote from her once about how she said sometimes she puts a blanket over her mirror so she doesn't have to be reminded of how gorgeous she is and how it makes her so different from everybody else. LOL. She needs to get over herself.
