Wikipedia has decided that members of the Church of Scientology will no longer be able to edit pages on their site, citing a policy against people making changes to entries for self-serving reasons. The Wikipedia folks accuse CoS members of "openly editing [Scientology-related articles] from Church of Scientology equipment and apparently coordinating their activities." So a bunch of people with no credibility were using a medium that has no credibility to spread lies about itself. Sort of like, say, the Catholic church having its own TV network. Or the Republican party propagating its nonsense via radio. Where is the truth amidst all this? I know, but I'm not telling.

I've heard a million times that Tom is ragingly gay in private.
And it's widely believed $cientology is holding his $ecrets over him as blackmail to $tay in the COS.
Ex- male employees have quit because of his penchant for kissing them on the lips and the butt smacking....Just saying.
What about the gay activists?, they don't respect freedom of speech, and organize a suckfest every time their agenda is voted down. Obama is against gay marriage, and black people stand against it as well; as a whole black churches don't want anything to do with gay marriage, yet Catholics and Republicans take the brunt from the same sex lickers.
It don't mean anything to me. If you love someone, you love someone. The heart is the hardest thing to govern. But at least you should be accurate as to whom you choose to flame. The Catholic church does a lot of work in shelters and kitchens that feed anyone, regardless of sexual orientation.

Catholics do do a lot of social justice work and many of them think the radical, pope-deemed tenets are ridiculous but they keep on keeping on in the faith. I guess I'll never understand religion or why people are so nutty about it. Scientology is just another one in the long line of head-scratchers for me.
Why people can't pull their shit together, be generous and work for the greater good, and have a little happiness left over for themselves without a church telling them to do it is beyond me.
Being gay has not one thing to do with religion. Neither does skin color. People who let their churches tell them that being gay is a sin should maybe find a new church, if they think they really need one. Scapegoating an entire section of the population and cherry-picking bigotry out of some book that has as much credibility as any book on mythology is absurd. Wake up, use your own brain. God gave it to you for thinkin' so do that.

I know many church goers who are miserable. They ambulate like zombies to the church and regurgitate prayers they don't understand, participate in communion and then live the rest of the week as scum bags. But there are also good people there, who care about others and only go to church to truly give thanks.
Religion is a personal choice; homosexuality is not. Either you are born gay, or you are not. If God loves all, then homosexual couples must be included in the warmth of his embrace. That being said; respect the will of the church and its members (San Francisco sisters).
I agree with Laura by the way. If you have a problem with wanting to get hitched to a same sex partner, take it up with Obama and the black churches in Cali, they are just as opposed as the people who demonstrate.
