Gail is selling bows..

Gail is offering a nice selection of bows for little girls hair. You can see them and how they are made and fastened HERE.
You can write to Gail at gailfrost@gmail.com
You'd be surprised how many people can not make bows or don't like to make them. Anyway, they're nice and can be used on babies or probably on little dogs too.

you can get the same things at the cheap dollar stores for a lot less than that

I've never seen them at ours. My daughter also gets paid to make bags of bows for other groomers. It's a personal thing, someone might like them.

gee, anon, get up on the wrong side of the bed?

someone's trying to earn some money....these bows are handmade by an american adult and not a chinese child....

you buy for quality and a clear conscience...

Why would you buy some foreign made crap at a dollar store when you can buy these charming bows? And they're cheap too! Nice find DD. Screw the dollar store and screw Walmart. I've been boycotting Walmart for many years. They don't play fair.

Yeah Shelly and now Walmart will carry Take merch. so I'm definitelly boycotting too :)

Hey, Anon 11:23, you are obviously male (or childless) because you are clueless. Most bows similar to this are sold at boutique stores for $6-$9 EACH. I started making these as my own way to boycott those ridiculous prices (and it's also a nice break from the kids!). :) So you go ahead and support China. I just hope your kid doesn't put those in their mouth because there's no telling what kind of poison they've sprinkled them with. Good luck with that. And I've already got a couple of orders thanks to DD's post. Thanks, DD!!

Good. :) I pay little attention to grouchy people. Had one the other day tell me to go plant more grass in my mansion or something. Silly people. I don't plant grass..I dig it out. Heh heh.

Thats very nice quality ribbon from where I sit. I'd buy them. They are very cute. And I sew, so I know whats out there. I used to make my own as well when my daughter was little.Remember all those home made "scrunchies" you would see at rummage sales & craft fairs? LOL!!! No more little girls for me tho. I like them and admire your efforts Gail.

They're ok, but I've seen cuter ones at Gymboree, etc .. I dont mean it to be nasty, but it doesnt take a whole lot of talent to make a bow and I highly doubt that store bought bows are ALL from China.

I made my first of probably many orders and they look amazing :) You rock :) and thanks DD for letting me know about this :)

Musta been a slow news day around here, I didnt know this was also craigslist for people who have nothing better to do than sit home and sew ribbons together.

Can I sell something on here as well? I need to get rid of some stuff, I need the cash too. Lost my job. This could be a whole new blog!!

hmmm...yeah.
I'm not going to sugar coat it and say that I'd buy these bows...they are nothing special to ME.
I'm also not going to lie and say they are beautiful...etc etc.

*shrugs*
what can you do.
this is a site where you can be brutally honest on one's opinion. So there it is.
