Yeah, Emril, ever the gentleman, didn't say it but he was thinkin' it "You GD bitch!I ain't your whippin' boy!" He actually seemed pissed, almost like he wasn't digging being there at all. And Kate did realize what she had done but only laughed at the incident, like she's so cute he won't really mind. He did act like it stung. She's so used to abusing all the people around her. She's seemed like she was a bit embarassed about hitting him- realized she went too far. She is a piece of work- thats for sure. But I still say- if everyone, blogs included, stopped talking about her so much- she and the show would go away.

It looked like it smarted, and he looked as if he hesitated for a split second. . . as if he would have liked to put her in her place. It was very disrespectful, and rude, and she had no business doing it, but she has always had bad manners. She is abusive, but normally she takes it out on Jon and the kids.
Gawd...I can't wait till someone puts Kate in her place. I would love some "big-name" celebrity to bring the shit in Kate's face. I hope it's filmed.

THAT FUCKING STOVE!!! Damn it, I've always wanted one of those stainless steel chef grade 6 gas burner, boiling water dispenser stoves. I have a piece of shit glass top electric that came with this house. I fucked up food for the first year trying to figure out how to cook on electric. I've never watched Emeril before, but who ever crosses her path gets treated so ungratefully. I hate the way she treats people! Remember the eye doctor? Oh I cringed! Where in the hell did she get her sense of entitlement?
Ah in the video tape is showing a prime example of Kate the dominatrix. As she shows the red spacula of pain to emril. Deep down inside Kate feel's pride and a tingle. Jon looks on waiting for his spacula wipping.
I happened to see that commercial. Won't ever watch the show, but they did in the commercial show Emeril saying "Leave him alone" to Kate after she vocally slaps Jon. Then she did hit Emeril, the little minx she thinks she is, with what looked like a big red spoon. I would've loved it if he'd turned around and popped her right in the mouth. Of course that wouldn't happen, but it was my dream.
I'm with you Anon 3:16...wouldn't it be hilarious if Emeril had taken the spatula from her and popped her in the face with it?? Man, would I pay to see that! Nice kitchen, right? We all helped pay for that, but somehow I feel no pride in THAT accomplishment. The kiddos are still adorable...

Episode 3: Watch Kate brag about having invented peanut butter and organic fluff sandwiches. She would show you how to make it but it's pointless because there's no way you could do it right.

I just watched it again. In the end she was going to complain about the food, but, Emeril said he thought it was perfect, so for once, she shut her mouth.
I too wished Emeril would have grab that spatula and given her a slap right back. Wow, she is one nasty peice of work. No wonder she's got no friends or family left. One day there will be a headline about Katie when some one does pay her back in kind and she ends up in the ED or morgue.
She hit him TWICE. I'd give her one play-tap - excuse it for being a little too frisky in the moment; but the second time, there's no excusing the not-funny brattiness of it. It looked like it didn't feel so great - to his credit he just kept his cool and kept on going. It wasn't funny or cute, it was an uncomfortable moment. She felt out of control, and there was a little hostility in there, not just fun. Don't want to make too much of it, but badly done, Kate.
