What about the kids? I'm told Kate admitted to having child care help..for the love of organic fluff, finally!...and she also admitted her kids call her by the babysitters name. My husband works nights and never watches the show, knows nothing about it and hasn't even seen Kate since the first special they did. But he got home early last night, got a load of Kate and the first thing he said is "what's wrong with her hair?" He couldn't believe she goes out in public like that. LOL.

I watched a few of the shows that were on yesterday and at the ending of the last season Jon said he really didn't want to do anymore shows..and she said basically the same thing adding so we will see to this he kind of rolled his eyes and gave her his usual keep my mouth shut but react with my body language that she cant see look...The beginning of this show OMG talk about trying to make an image change w/Kate trying to be mother of the year how she use to not like the fans now she adores them and appreciates them, I am planning a bday party and taking all the kids by myself because its for them as usual type of attitude...im doing my "job" while he plays...I don't agree with Jon but he has been saying he wants out of the show but she doesnt...I had my fill..The kids ARE adorable though and they got to smash a "tinyada" and got candy

Most foster parents are in it FOR THE MONEY. Most foster parents are no better than Kon and Bitch in that sense but there'd be a lot less of the money spent on the kids. Second, they'd be split up and sent to different homes. There aren't enough care homes for single kids who need a place to live, WTF makes anyone think those kids would be placed in a home together?
Think about it. If we really care more about those kids than we do the parents or just the chance to gossip and bitch about people, then think about the real consequences of the kids getting put into care and less about trying to sound all righteous and better than everyone else.

I don't think there are grounds to take children away from their parents just because the parents are not liked by some or because they are self-centered or because they are famous.
What if authorities decide, while reading blogs, that any people who are flinging insults, using profanity, and making empty threats out of anger are not fit to be parents? Not only would it be wrong, it would be un-American, and there'd be a lot of unhappy parents! I also wonder how many posters would be okay with letting their own children read what they have written.
A child is almost always better off with his/her own parents. There's no child abuse involved with J&K. If there is, I'm sure there will be intervention by authorities (not TLC)--they've certainly been alerted enough times by many people (if we are to believe all the people in blogs.)
There should be some sort of legislation that sets guide rules for children in reality shows, just as there are guide rules for child actors. I think we'll see that happen.

Emotional abuse & being in fear of a parent is just as bad as any physical abuse. What does seem un-american to me is that in 5 years not one american social worker or child protection agency has stepped in & protected these poor kids from their own home & parents or put some rules about what can be filmed & how often. So yes IN MY OPINION, they would be better off in care cause they might stand a chance of a normal life.

Naturally, you're entitled to your own opinion, but not everyone, however, assumes or sees abuse by the short pieces that are aired. I dislike what I see of Kate's personality, intently, but that's not reason enough to report her for child abuse. Here, in America, hopefully we'll not have to fear the government taking our children away because of opinions and assumptions made by other people.
This is a land of opportunity, and opportunity knocked on the Gosselin's door and they did what they thought was best for their family, and they made a lot of money. It's a shame that their marriage was not strong enough to withstand the pressures of multiples and fame, but in my opinion, it wouldn't have lasted in any case, and the children would have been far worse in a divorce situation in a poor environment.
I don't think you can draw a conclusion of emotional abuse by what has been publicly aired. Maybe no protective agency has taken action because they found no grounds or proof of any kind of abuse. "Being in care" is not a *normal life* in America.
I hope that there are regulations and guidelines put in place for ALL reality shows that involve children. The others are no different than the Gosselins.
The best thing that could happen to this family is that we all STOP WATCHING their TV show. Stop reading magazines with articles in them about the Gosselins. Stop perpetuating the machine that is overexposing these children. Kate and Jon won't stop but we can.

I didn't condemn you for your views so there's no reason to assume a tone. I have a TV and I don't see abuse. You have a TV and you do see abuse. If anything, I see the need to investigate to see if any child labor laws should be put in place as is with child actors.

Where is the family if there really IS provable abuse taking place?
I've written to my congressman, senators, fcc, etc., and I'm hoping many people are doing the same. It's worth an investigation to be sure, to prevent abuse on any show in the future, and to make sure the money is being spent on behalf of the children in ALL reality shows.
Regardless of anything I see that I don't like on the show, it appears to me that the children do love their parents and their siblings. I'm sure their security has been shaken (as evidenced with the little one and Jon and many other instances), so I'm hoping they really can put there feelings for one another aside and think of the children--and be responsible in a shared custody situation for the children's sake.
Unlike so many who hate Kate, I hope she does get a talk show, and it is successful--it will take this show, Jon, and her children off the air.

Eric- I thought some of their comments were genuine(not alot),but in the entire time they have been on air,Kate's never laughed that much or been that happy. She's trying way to hard to change the publics perception of herself,but the laughing & jokes seemed fake most of the time. Her reaction to the pap said alot. Im sure we could all agree that people on the show were probably made to sign confidentiality clauses. Now with Kevin & Jodie releasing their video,if they did have a clause obviously it has expired & their free to talk. When that video came out & they went public with their allegations,if their true or false,I think a police investigation should have been opened right then. If authorities go to question the camera people or producers that Jodie & Kevin said showed concern for the kids during filming,a clause means nothing if there's a chance a minor is being harmed or affected in a negative manner & honoring that clause could put the kids at further risk, it's like no clause existed to begin with.

We as adults have a responsibility to protect kids & if that means they are pulled from the home for 72 hours while police investigate this than that's what has to be done. If their pulled & everything checks out fine & the kids are sent home..that's great. The parents would probably always hate me,but the parents feelings don't mean shit to me. Don't have to like every Coyote says but i think he/she is only using a little objectivity & common sense when looking at why J&K haven't been and doubt they will ever be charged with anything. Courts don't charge in there because of public opinion .
I really don't see this as being a case where the children need to be taken from the parents at all. I do believe the parents need to focus on the kids a lot more, though. I understand that lots of people want to see Kate and buy her book, etc. Then let THAT be the source of income. Drop the tv show for the sake of the kiddos! Let them have some sense of normalcy! Do an annual special or something to satisfy our curiousity about them, but stop the invasive filming now. Who knows? They might have a chance to rediscover why they married in the first place if they had some privacy and time to talk!

it's called the common law system. each court decision influences legislation that is passed and vice versa.

Coyote is DEFINITELY NCL.
11:19- I'm not so sure anymore. Coyote has long periods of coherent comments that clearly show a rational pov. NCL,Teresa & BabyMama are more along the lines of serial killers or necrophiliacs. Coyote I don't feel is anywhere near those 3 "after births of a bastard cow".
