I'm glad the twins had some fun, but, it just shows me that if they're old enough to follow the Jonas Brothers, they're old enough to follow everything else. They know. Jon and Kate aren't with the kids enough to know what they do all the time and I'm sure "not a nanny" has her hands full. She can't monitor all the computer and TV use in that big house, not with eight kids to watch. And kids Mady and Cara's age find ways to find out things on the sly, they aren't dim. So, the girls have seen mom shooting beaver, mom in her too small bikini parading for the paps, dad with his whores, dads whore's drinking, bonging, passing out....all of it. It's just sad. Jon and Kate could have handled this whole thing differently and not acted like media whore teenagers, but, they didn't and Cara and Mady have to pay. They'll survive, but, it's just sad that they are the last thing on their stupid parents minds. And through all this personal hardship, they are still working nearly every day. Would it have been so damn hard to protect them and just stop?

Cara and Mady go see the Jonas Brothers
I'm glad the twins had some fun, but, it just shows me that if they're old enough to follow the Jonas Brothers, they're old enough to follow everything else. They know. While the girls get to see the Jonai, their father is in NY with that other father of the year, Michale Lohan. Why isn't DCFS or whatever the kid protectors doing something to stop these fools???
I watched 1 episode, or tried to, but the way she treated him really pissed me off. And him taking it off her really bothered me. SOMEONE PLEASE STOP THESE HORRIBLE PEOPLE!!

She's probably a producer's daughter or someone related to TLC in some way. I cannot imagine that they have any real friends during all of this.

I'm sure those girls have lots of friends actually, although not friends who like them for the right reasons. They are probably really popular at school simply because they're on t.v. and the other kids think they are real "stars".
One day they will realize the truth and be hurt, but right now they are too young to know if their classmates are using them.

Snarkie, I caught a glimpse of The View today, and they had Demi Lovato on the couch, and she was saying how her and Miley Cyrus were bullied big time by the other girls when they were on 7th grade because of their "star" status, both of them being squeeky clean and Miley not behaving trashy like she has lately. Made me wonder if the G twins are going through a similar situation at their school, and now read your post about them not having any friends...probably due to their trashy parents. Why am I not suprised.
I always roll my eyes at stars who whine that they were bullied at school for being famous....lots of kids get bullied without ever being famous.

You know what kids really want? They just want to be normal, they want to feel that their lives are just like their friends lives. That is what they want.
I recall an interview I saw with Pablo Picasso's daughter, Paloma, on TV. She told a story about how when she was little she got these white shoes that all her friends had. Her father took her shoes and painted all over them. The interviewer joked that a million people would have given their left arm for those shoes, but Paloma said she was so upset. All she wanted were plain white shoes like all her friends had.
When I was a tween, and my home life was unstructured due to my parents split, all I wanted was to be like my friends, with dinner time, a clean house, and rules. I wanted someone to ask about my report card and picture day.
I was 12 and my aunt told me that since my mom was leaving I needed to learn how to make a pot roast.
Kids have so many changes going on inside of them. They no longer like the same stuff that they did when they were younger, physical changes, their ability to think abstractly increases as they grow, and they experience physical changes within their own body. What they want is for their environment to stay constant. It is just too much for growing children to take on. It's unfair for kids who have issues with clicks at school, wondering about getting their period, to have to digest a public, tabloid, divorce with girlfriends and ratings.
I am no super mom. You may find laundry piled up, dirty dishes, and I don't wear make-up everyday, but, I care, care, and love my two, and their well-being is on the front burner, always. It's seen in my actions. Reading, smiling, squirting them with the hose, on the phone with insurance, and doctors.......... I would NEVER put them on TV so I could have less stress at the grocery store, or have a better car......

Really? I don't. Not in the circles I run in. The moms I know are concerned about how much TV and video games their kids are into. I don't live in Darfur. I live in suburbia. We worry about grades, healthy relationships, and what they see on the internet.
Yeah, there are kids who have fathers in jail and mothers on crack, but Jon is free and kate is not hooked on drugs. So, these kids should be problem free, right? But, they aren't. They have a lot to contend with, namely, their daily existence on display for others to rubber-neck at. You think that's o.k.? How would you like to be eating a bowl of cereal with a camera in your face for all of America and your 3rd grade class to see? How would you like it if you were 8 yrs old and you screamed and ran away and your mother "interviews" that you were being ugly? Would you like that?
Or, would you like to over-hear that your mother brags about you, and thinks the world of you, and would be damned if anyone invaded your privacy or said anything unflattering about you? I would. If I were 8 yrs old, I'd want my mom to be my biggest fan. I'd want my mom to eat mac'n cheese and wear stained clothes before she traded my anonymity for Ann Taylor and Landrovers. Would you wish that you were like your friends, and could have your parents yell at you without it being on Youtube? I would.
There are many ways to abuse a child. Starving, is one. But, fucking up their sense of self is another.Don't look at the Gymboree clothes and think everything is fine.
You ever wonder why some people get addicted to drugs, have eating disorders, stay with abusive/toxic relationships, and have low self-esteem? It's not all random, my dear. There is a correlation.

They may not be the worst parents in the world,but on my tv & in my circle of friends,they sure as hell are the worst parents I've ever come across.
