Hey Peg..

I know you'll read this. I am too lazy to email..but, look at this crop from your big photo. I really dig it. The old shoes...the soft light. It would make a nice painting on it's own.

And my camera still won't turn on. 2 packs of new batteries and it won't turn on. It worked with your special batteries. Any clue?

Ghosts dont want their picture taken?
This looks like the seabottom of a ship wreck. This is very interesting. I always wonder, whose shoes were those? Was that person wearing them when they died/drown? Why are those shoes there and not put away? Shoes rae such storytellers. I think thats why the most revered display at The Holocaust Museum is the pile of shoes. We all have shoes. Even people that die have shoes. Shoes tell your story. I love this pic the best. Its way more revealing than the flames & orbs. More personal.

You'd be surprised what we find. In one house EVERYTHING was still there. The dust covered table was still set with a 40 year meal (or older). Clothes still in closets....like the people just up and left. We try not to take anything or disturb things, but, once I took a calender. It hangs on my door just like it did in the abandoned house. It is always January, 1940.

Oh gosh. Shoes are the most disturbing item IMO. I had a weird experience with a pair of old lace-up victorian booties. Actually I was cruising the local antique stores looking for a pair...and found it. As soon as I picked them up to look at them closely I had to drop them like a hot potato. All this electricity/energy travelled from my fingertips to my shoulder, it was horrible. It was bad energy. I didn't like it. I insantly knew whoever owned those shoes was a troubled soul, maybe tortured to death, or maybe an evil person. It was a horrible feeling. Everytime I see those shoes I cringe, they are still on display at the store.

actually I'm gonna be close to that store's neighborhood later. If the shoes are still there I'll take a picture. (it'll probably be with my phone, but I'll try to get one with my panasonic)

I'd love a pic of them. I know I've touched things like that too. I avoid them like the plague. But, they're curious. I bought a famous haunted doll once advertised on eBay. They had video of it moving and voices. Most of that stuff is so bullshit, but, I liked that one. I still have him. He gives me cool vibes. I should put some of my doll collection on here. I have some really odd old ones. I keep them up in the loft.

alright then, I'm on my way out. Need to do grocery shopping and other monday afternoon errands. I'll stop by that store first to see if the shoes are still there, and send you a photo from my phone.
