Iowa Sweet
This farmer is smart, he hides his sweet corn in the field corn. Sharp. A woman says on there that Iowa corn is special. It is. We have the best sweet corn of anywhere I know of. Iowa is famous for corn. Mostly field corn, and that's not for human consumption. It's hard and not sweet and doesn't taste good. I like it that farmers hide their yummy corn..lol. If they didn't it would be all gone before they got up! I wonder, though, do the pickers ever get to an end row and make a mistake? That'd be gross in the market!

yep, i can vouch for iowa sweetcorn....there is nothing like it in ohio...

I just had my friend here, (in Michigan) and she loved the corn so much, I'm going to mail her a box of it. I'm curious to compare.
Minnesota sweet corn--just as good. i tell you what.
I am so drunk right now. my dad died in november and my crazy ass mom is today having an auction and selling everything that my dad worked so hard to amass.

I am in a bad place.
In Indiana we have corn everywhere. All around my house. One field to my east is soybeans tho. The other 3 sides of my house are corn fields. Its dangerous when the corn is high. We have nice sweet corn too. But your Iowa sweet corn may indeed be superior. The tiny white "Silver Queen" corn is sweet & delicios and doesnt get stuck in your teeth. Hot steamy corn on the cob with butter & paprika! Yummy!
anne113: I am so sorry sweety. Gawd, I have been thru that shit! It sucks. Not a damn thing you can do either. It's at these times that many people choose to sever ties with a few family members that showed their true colors at a sad & critical time for the family. Greediness is the worst. I always just said "I dont want anything...I just want them back here, with me"!!! Thats how I still feel. I will be thinking about you. xo
