John Mayer Human Nature

What a beautiful tribute to MJ, Mayer let the music fill his spirit but didn't act assy at the memorial. He may be a douchy boy friend, but, he's an amazing musician. I am a fan.

He said he had never even met MJ but the family called & asked him to do this. After which he doubted it was real & had to get verification on it and said he was honored to have been asked to do this. I think he may have won me back as well. He is a class act, when he wants to be.

Thanks. I've always been a fan. Just not of his stupid public behavior.

I like what he said about the memorial and how "humanizing it was" He went on to say "Michael Jackson wasn't super human. He was extra human" and that the service rendered him "finally as being a human being."

I thought his performance was the best because it was genuine in that he didn't ride it for his own gain. He seemed to truly be honored for the right reason and put the recognition, not on himself but, on MJ's legacy.

Loooved it. Something about the electric guitar that always gets me. I'm glad he didn't attempt to sing that song. He really is talented.

Glad he chose the acoustic version too - it was brilliantly done, with humility and humanity.
