Looking at my garden

My neighbors can't see me anymore. That's so nice. You know what's weird? When I shaved my head, I thought my hair grew in all grey, but, all my pictures show it still blond. I guess I didn't look at my hair or myself for over a year. That Tomato on the table looks like a butt.

Why does this one friend of mine keep telling me I have to dye my hair blond? It is blond, isn't it?

Looked again. There is nothing wrong with my hair. She can go shove it.

Just wanted to say I pay a colourist BIG bucks for that gorgeous shade of blonde. It kills me that you've got it naturally! lol (very flattering, btw!)

I'm starting to think she's not much of a friend at all.

Yes! You are blond and its a lovely shade, very natural looking. No dyeing necessary IMO.

May I ask why you shaved your head?

Locks Of Love. And I just cut it off sometimes, I do it myself when it gets too long. It grows fast.

Why'd you shave your head?

It may be crazy, but I've always wanted to shave my head. Just to see what it'd look like. My old man says he'd kill me but I was curious. Before I had a chance to, Britney shaved HER head in a psychotic breakdown and made shaving your head (if you're female) look bad.

Chick had everything, then she has to shave her head and ruin it for women everywhere. :)

Also, your hair is perfect the way it is. People pay a lot of money to have hair that colour.

You know what? Chicken butt. Your tomato butt brought out the second grader in me too.

Your hair looks really nice, you look blond to me and you have a darn nice set of lips.

You guys are nice. I'm an old lady, it doesn't matter anymore, but, I do think I still have good hair.

I've been reading your blog for a couple of years. I don't always agree with you, but I always enjoy your viewpoint. I like that you have started to put pictures of yourself on here. There is something really warm and comforting about your face.

I love your hair color! It always bothers me when people dye their hair when they don't need to. When did it become the norm to have a bottled hair color? I think we're all born with the perfect shade to compliment our faces. I looovvvee my light brown color. I'd look SOO weird with lighter or darker hair. :)

Your hair is fine the way it is. You do not see many natural blondes. My friend is a natural blonde. She is 45 and still has a full head of yellow blonde hair.

I can remember looking at your old phontos but I will ask anyway/. Were you a towhead as a child?

I had white hair as a child.

Corina, you are right.

Your hair color is a great shade of blonde. I don't see any grey in it. Love the tushy tomato!

lmao @ the tomatoe (sorry I am canadian and we put "e" on the end lol.

Your hair is definately blonde Pat. This was the 1st time I saw it short and it looks great - suits you really well. It could be more blonder in the summer with the sun though - maybe in the winter it goes more grey?

Isn't it nice when you can't see your neighbours lol.

Spell check has no idea if it's tomatoe or tomato. It offers both.

I want it a little longer, but, I don't think old ladies should have all that mass of hair. I'm glad it's gone.

DD- let it go longer. Fuck it. Old ladies can do whateva we want. I'm the same age as you and it's half way down my back and mosly always in a ponytail....way low maintenance

Some, not many, older women can get away with longer hair. As we get older our hair gets drier, naturally and from years of processing(me). Older women with long hair, in my opinion, look unkempt, even when they have gone to great lengths(no pun)to fix it. It also makes them look older, not younger.
About color, I vowed at 32 that I would NEVER go gray. If I live to be 100 my hair will be a bottle
#.

Pat, I wouldn't consider your hair long, long would be below the scapula bone.
