
My camera suddenly is working again. Whew, I hoped if I let it sit awhile and clear the energy it picked up it might start working again. I can get all of last nights pictures now and sort through them. Awesome. I was just out picking. I love the Sweet 100's and have decided they are the best tomato. They're abundant, the first to ripen, huge plants and they taste divine. You know what I don't like? Early Girl and Early Boy, they are flat tasting and not early. Big Boy and Beefsteak are all pretty much the same and okay. Nothing special. Another good one, I like, is Celebrity. It's a nice plant, with perfectly shaped medium tomatoes with a nice taste. Also I like the Lemon Boy, it's good and of course, the Romas. Sweet 100's are a cherry tomato lovers dream though. Man, are they good. The Brandywines are a good tomato too, but, they're really too big. Who really needs a two pound tomato? And the plants are wild, they're out of hand and won't behave. Still a good tomato though. Fuck Early Girl and Early Boy, who thinks up that lame shit?
I like tomatos when they're orange. If they go red, they've gone too far for my taste.

I am like you Pat. I like the tomatoes to be a bit on the firmer side when i eat them raw. If they get too ripe, I will use them in spaghetti sauce.
Me too. They have a good acid bite when all the sugars have just started to delevelop. Ripe ones are for sauces that are supposed to taste sweet.
I love to throw tiny tomatoes, black olives, pepper rings and red onion all together & toss a bit of Greek vinegrette dressing over it. What a yummy salad.
