Does anyone else watch this? I started watching it one night because nothing else was on and then I got into it. I really got into it. These kids are all 16 and 17 years old and they come from very wealthy families and most of them are extremely bright, but, so jaded. It's sad and weird and it freaks me out. I grew up so differently. I really like PC, but, he's the saddest of all. He's like someone I'd hang out with and that's bizarre. I should have nothing in common with a teenage boy, but, he's not typical. I don't think he's ever been a child. Geez.

NYC Prep
Does anyone else watch this? I started watching it one night because nothing else was on and then I got into it. I really got into it. No, it's not like Gossip Girl. I don't like that show. This is just different. The kids on this really freak me out, but, I admire some of them.
I watched a little of this for a couple of epis and forgot to watch this week. I kind of liked it. I think it was like the housewives except it is with the younger crowd. I really wish they had put Housewives from Atlanta back on instead though...its pretty good.
i like it too. i love reality shows.pc is a cute kid but such a dick. i would've never let some kid talk to me like he does to his so called friends. i would have kicked someone like him square in the crotch. guess that's how you can tell i'm not from the upper east side lol.
hate to say it, but i always envisioned rich kids would be better looking. the blonde is pretty ugly and the dark haired girl has a wonky eye. i guess tv makes me think that way . rich people on tv are gorgeous and the average folk are plain and not that attractive.
Meh, I'm pretty sick of the whole "I am rich, therefore I automatically deserve a show about my life" reality genre. I am bored with the endless television footage of rich people shopping and clubbing.
They have no clue what it's like to live normally and that keeps me watching. Teenagers who think nothing of spending $2,000 on a skirt. Someone is going to go poor soon. I'm waiting for that. I want to see how they handle it.

those 2 kids, the brother & sister have their own Manhattan apartment!!!!! They never cook, their parents visit them one night a week and have dinner with them. Their parents are young, good looking & rich as hell. So, these kids go out to eat, get served at the clubs and hang with richies everynight. Yet, they keep their grades up? YES! Harvard, Yale, Dartmouth. Only Ivy League for these kids. It's amazing. They are little adults. By the time they are 30 they will be making their 2nd million.
I watch the show, but I also watch a lot of other garbage too. It's one of those shows that I watch and get progressively madder as it goes on but I can't seem to turn away. These kids drive me nuts. I want to staple Jessie's mouth shut and fix her cross eyes. Cut off Kelly's hair so she stops playing with it. Move Sebastian to the west coast where he so obviously belongs. Slap Taylor upside her damn head and make her realize that DATING A GUY TO ACHIEVE THE PROPER SOCIAL STATUS IS WRONG AND NOT SOMETHING TO BRAG ABOUT! Don't even get me started with PC. Seriously. Who the hell do these kids think they are? Reality TV ruins people. I wonder what these kids were really like before the show came around, before the cameras? And before Gossip Girl. They are all so fake. I feel like they are just trying to out-do their character counterparts from GG.
I grew up in one of the former richest counties in the US (not saying that my fam contributed to that stat) and I know the real versions of these kids. They're nothing like that.
What annoys me about these reality shows is that these people have the money to do so many interesting things, like take exotic vacations, but instead they opt for, "Oh, I think I'll go shopping again" every single day. I can't believe they have so many opportunities in life and choose to just spend all their time buying clothes and getting their hair done.
Everytime this show is on the tv in my bedroom, I fall asleep. Not against anyone that likes it..just not my cup of tea.
The hot messes of Atlanta are starting up soon. Yee Haa!
The Atlanta housewives are very stupid women though and that irritates me. Sometimes amusing, but, they really have low IQ's and why are we viewers always subjected to the stupid? The stupid aren't that interesting. It makes no sense.

A couple of the RHWOA remind me of my sils. Niecy is one in particular. My hubby and I like to watch and laugh because we have heard it before but in person.
Oh god!!! I hope you keep booze in the house.
I would really like a better shot of all their shoes. im deciding if i like them.
