There's a perfect pickle cuke I found blocking the gate this morning and anyone who thinks they're going to turn me into a domestic goddess can shove that thing right in their butt, 'cause I don't care. I was just hungry, so I cooked something. Tonight I may have a bag of red licorice and a bowl of cottage cheese for dinner.

No you wont! You are on a creative roll in the kitchen and will continue to eat all those free groceries in your yard, as I would. Invent something else for us to drool over!
PS: I love a big dill pickle. You gonna make pickles? Yum.

I don't know how to make pickles. Hmm. If it's not too hard, I might try. I wish my MIL was still alive, she was the Queen of that stuff and I never learned from her. That's shameful.
mmmmm red licorice.
I may have IceCream for dinner and tell the kids when you grow up you can have icecream for dinner too.

We make pickles all the time by using our cucumbers out the garden. I think you boil 1 cup of brown cider vinegar and 1 cup of sugar for 5 minutes, pour it over the cucumbers and refrigerate. We also add onion to ours. Very good!
I love bread and butter pickles...Yum.
well those size cukes sometimes are better then the pickles and I love pickles.
Put some pepper and a bit of salt and just enjoy

Sounds like my dinner last night. Cottage cheese and Starburst...lol
P.S. On the pickle thing. I tried once. Epic failure. You have to get the alum just right to make them crisp...or so I've been told. But the refrigerator recipe is yum yum!
