Carol Bohanan aka Carol Calamity beat out all the other applicants to become the real Witch of Wookey Hole near Wells in Somerset, England. She was chosen over 3,000 other applicants by the cave managers and the old Witch. The Wookey Holes caves are famous for magic and they needed a new witch. Carol will receive a good salary and a home in the area, but, she will be required to spend some nights in the cave, that is the way of the Wookey Hole witch. In return Carol will teach classes in witchcraft and magic. Sounds like a dream job to me.*
She's very cute and I'm sure the outfit was worn because they want something theatrical, they are proud of their area witch. I can't believe some people showed up painted green with warts though. Witches don't have to be ugly. Didn't Glinda teach us anything?

that was an episode of bewitched too...darrin had to draw an ad campaign with an ugly witch cuz the business owner wanted it that way...of course we know samantha became involved and set the business owner right on witches not looking like that...
Yep, cute witch.
Is it just me or does she look like Mary Hart? Either way she looks like a ton of fun and I'm glad she beat the woman that drank her own urine at the auditions.
Miss tia, I remember that episode!
Me too. Sam was so mad.
Gawd...I could only think of H.R. Puf n Stuff...Witchy-Poo!!! Which was also from the English. It's silliness to dress like that. I like the witches in Sleepy Hollow (Jonny Depps)! Now thats a witch!!!

OMG! I have in my possesion a HR Puf and Stuff lunchbox, sans thermos, that my baby sister carried to school. Every once in awhile (as recently as today!) she hounds me for it. One day, she will get is as a gift. She constantly sends me links to EBay showing others for sale.
Witchy Poo, I am!
WOW! Well,if Carols happy,then I'm tickled pink!

I used to love to watch HR P&S when I was younger. Jack Wild was so cute. Dancing & singing in his top hat & short pants! Witchy-Poo was the coolest too. Then when my kids were born for some reason, they watched it, somehow. My 23 yr old daughter still loves it. I have a faux Witchy -Poo i set out at Halloween. I loved it too. Don't think I didn't. That lunch box is prob worth something. We have an old metal G I Joe one. Almost threw it out and NOW it might be worth something.
