Sufing a Tsunami
WOW! It is a secret of mine that I'm a surfing freak. I watch surf movies, surf championships and play surfing games. I don't know why, I don't surf. I've never surfed...but I want to. Surfin' granny from Iowa, the most landlocked state in the union, can't you see it? Anyway, this one is amazing.

I would have a heart attack if I was on the water trying to surf.
I have had this re-occuring nightmare my whole life of me being on the beach with my friends and family and I look out to the ocean and here comes a HUGE tidal wave. I'm trying to tell everyone to RUN but noone pays attention. So I'm trying to run as fast as I can but I'm looking back and the wave it getting bigger and bigger and then I wake up. Anyone know what that could mean? So yeah, there's no way I could surf that thing. My belly was doing flips just watching that!- Elizabeth

I tried surfing once.....If you could even call what I was doing surfing. I spent most of the time slamming into the water and getting salt water in my eyes LOL

I am the same way DD. Even though I have never surfed, I find myself daydreaming of being a good surfer. It is something I always wanted to learn.

You would love it Pat. So much force and power moving you forward. When I was a student at the Amphibious reconnaissance School, one instructor picked up a gallon of sea water and threw it at my chest. It knocked the wind out of me.
He then said; "OK crazy! that was your safety briefing. Stay away from the plunging wave as you are moving my Zodiac through the breaks!".
