Pretty self explanitory..Sookie is the only person a vampire can't "glamore." Bill is the only person (dead or undead) that Sookie can't hear the thoughts of.

In the books, Sookie is supposed to be very good looking. Then HBO picks Anna Paquin. Ugh. I don't claim to be great looking but I'm not playing a character who's supposed to enchant almost every guy she comes into contact with. Butter face for sure. At least Alexander Skarsgard is insanely hot. I love me some viking vampire.
I love TB but it really distorts the story lines of the books and even the personalities of some of the characters. Still, I think the show is far better than the books. And Eric is the sweetest piece of vampire ass ever.
i think she's pretty!! I haven't read the books, and I'm not much into vampires (except for the book The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova which is one of the best books I've read), but this series looks good... wonder if i can find a place to catch up on all the episodes online...
I love love love the books and surprisingly I also like the show. If you read the books, you can't expect too much out of the show- they have to make it interesting for a wider range of people. But, I hope they use Eric a lot in the show, because he is my favorite. Incidentally, has anyone else noticed the number of accents that the actors have? Ryan Kwanten (Jason) is Australian, Stephen Moyer (Bill) is British, Alexander Skaarsgard (Eric) is Swedish- it makes for interesting interviews.

Anna Paquin has talent though, I'd rather she have that than just be pretty. She has a great bod.
I don't think Anna is ugly but I do think that blonde hair is terrible on her. It's so obviously fake and not in a chic way. It washes her out.
I saw Anna on some talk shows and she's annoying as hell. The way she speaks is annoying. Her face is annoying.
She has no sense of humor and her entire demeanor annoyed me.
If I'm going to watch new vampires I think I'll look for that "Moonlight" guy.
Paquin-free.
