Biz pics

Biz visited this old mansion in New Jersey and they had an extraordinary garden. I love the hens and chicks, look at all the varieties! I didn't know there was that many different ones. And look at adorable Sammie in her sundress and little earrings! I love watching Sammie films on Biz's site. She's just so funny and everything tickles her. The old mansion looks a lot like my child hood home and she has pictures of it on her blog. Maybe you'd let me use one next time I write a story about life in the old Iowa mansion, Biz? Biz is still not convinced living in Jersey is the greatest, but, I liked it when I used to hang out there. It's the garden state, you know. I hope Sammie picks up the Joisey girl accent, that'd make for fun teen/mom arguments. Heh.

Anyone know what that blue flower is?

DD if she does I'm gonna blame it on you! I hope we're getting out of here by early next year, so that better not happen, lol.

Of course you are welcome to any pics you like :)

And what are the chicks and hens? Are they the cacti looking ones in pots??

Yep, Succulents. Miss Peg gave me some this Spring and I planted them in a decrotive box, they are doing well. But, I've never seen all the different ones in your pic!

LOL..I just had a thought. If you stay there, Biz, when Sammie turns 15 it will be like having an argument with Chelsea Lately. LMAO!

Oh dear. LOL. I can't imagine it'd be as funny from the inside.

The blue flower is lobelia.

What a beautiful cactus arrangement! I'm too far north to grow cactus, but I have 'cob web' hens and chicks. They grow with the spider webs already in place. I love H&C's of any kind. They're a happy, forgiving patient plant.

Now, THAT one might be a Lobelia. Lobelia don't get that big here. They're just used as an accent in pots. Sure is pretty and true blue.

Yep, those hen and chicks like the cold. They come back here and it gets 30 below here. There a cactus that grows here too. I'll have to put a pic of it on and maybe someone will know what it is. It's like prickly pear.

FYI, Joizy girl accents are out of the mouths of girls in North Jersey(Chelsea Lately Territory). We girls from South Jersey(Trenton/Long Beach Island)and points south do not have this accent.
South Jersey is farmland and beaches, the reason NJ is called the Garden State.
N. Jersey is mostly an industrial area.
