Connie Francis - Lipstick On Your Collar (1959)
I had to look this up, because I hadn't heard it since Bitchy Lou sang it out in the chicken coop when we were kids. It's Connie Frances! The Sisters loved Connie, she was proof that homely girls could go far if they stayed good. Catchy tune. It must have made quite an impression on me, I remembered it after all these years and I now realize old Bitchy Lou could carry a tune.

So, do you still talk to any of your cousins? Is Bitchy Lou still bitchy or did she grow out of that?

I remember my mother loved Dean Martin, Frank Sintra and Sammy Davis. The rat pack. My dad liked Bing Crosby. He still wants to hear Bing's, "White Christmas" during the holidays...
The rat pack grossed me out, except Dean Martin. I thought he was really funny and sophisticated when I was little.
I DO still see all my family, they all live near except RosaLee and I just saw her and her mom at a yard sale on my way home from work. They told the sale lady they were looking for a house to buy here for RosaLee and they needed it to have at least 3 or 4 bedroom. I thought that was odd since she only has one kid still at home. Hmm.
Bitchy Lou lives one house up and across the street. She's not bitchy, just silly now and still says inappropriate things all the time. Still girly and giddy. She doesn't bother anyone though. She has two really nice grown boys, one still lives with her because we were raised to believe a woman can't live alone.
I never thought Connie Francis was homely. Oh well. Nice to know Bitchy Lou turned out OK.
I was raised that way too. WTF's wrong with women living alone? I love being alone.

connie francis had some addiction issues did she not? She was a chub and not entirely unfortunate looking. This is funny, the dress, the Aquanet hair & pearls etc. but she could sing.
