Torn up junky house down the street which is a "day care." I took that pic through my bushes. There's no fence, except the one in back used two hold two new terriers they got which bark all the time and look like they bite. I don't care what they do except that I counted 14 kids in her care yesterday and 12 were toddlers and no one watches them. They were in the street on trikes and push rider thingies and in the neighbor's yard on their trampline when no one was home. I'm sorry to say, I know that house real well, and it's dangerous for kids. There are two tall ladders in the yard, for no reason I can see and the tiniest kids climb to the top of them. The fat hog who babysits came out once yesterday and said "Fuck all of you, I'm leaving, go or don't go." And she walked uptown. Half the kids followed her and half stayed in the street under the care of the oldest, who's about 11. The fat hog yelled at one toddler for bringing a cat and she said "PUT THE GOD DAMN CAT DOWN. PUT THE GOD DAMN FUCKING CAT DOWN NOW, YOU LITTLE SHIT!" The young cat was deposited in the middle of the road and wandered off, confused. That Fat Hog was grabbing little arms and yanking toddlers around and screaming profanity. Only two are school age and most still wear pull ups. Why do people leave their kids with this Fat Hog? I would pull up, take one look at the yard, and leave. I can't believe people think this Fat Hog should watch kids. It should have a sign that says "Satan's Day Care." *
Note: There's a better pic and I noticed the dogs sleep on top of an old freezer thrown in the yard..with lid. Every day care needs an old freezer. That's safe.

Wow. Don't even know what to say. Who would trust that woman with their children? Why do people wait until something beyond tragic happens to stop BAD situations?
I can't fathom the depths of stupidity of the parents who hire her. And I can't imagine the kind of day a child would have there.
take video of some of the outside action....put it on a disc and send it to city officials...or if you see the parents give them copies....
i suppose your town doesn't have any kind of children's services...does the county? contact them...
I am going to take photos next time they're out in the street and find out who their parents are and show them how their precious baby spends the day. I can take vid of her yelling too.

You paint the best word pictures. The situation would be laughable if it were not so serious. When you find the right authorities let me know. I have someone in my neighborhood who is on complete social security disability and keeps six children in her house. I would like to report her.
Is it possible the parents don't complain because the homes these children come from are equally as bad? It seems like the only logical reason. I wouldn't leave my goldfish there let alone my child.
anon 6:58, go to the ssa.gov site...i think it's ssa.gov...or ss.gov....there's a fraud form somewhere....report them for fraudulently receiving ss and for earning unreported income...also, contact you local human services and report that too....

You'd probably opt to do it anyway but still, if a person could treat children that way I can only imagine how they'd be with another adult.
Any parent who would leave their child in a place like that probably isn't much better than "fat hog". Who knows what the inside of that house looks like and maybe she keeps it tidy. But the freezer in the back yard would be enough to raise some red flags for any parent with even an ounce of common sense.

i think you live in Iowa? here's the link to day care standards (sounds like FH violates every one)and the hotline to report abuse. hopefully they will shut FH down. then these parents will have to find another place to leave the kids. hopefully they will put FH in jail or at least on on the evening news..that's another idea...how about getting a news crew over there to film this??

I don't think *I* would go in that house, let alone drop my kids off there. I know the rules in Ohio are 6 kids per adult and I think that decreases if they are infants. I hope that something can be done about this before one of those kids get hurt.

it does decrease if they are infants in ohio nissa....i think it's 2-3 infants per adult if they are under 2.....
I don't want to explain how they get around the law. I will when I post the kids in street, which won't take long, I'm sure. There's only 3 or 4 kids over there today.
I got to thinking what a good dog house an old freezer would make. Leave the door in the dump and put plywood in the front. You could put it on with sealant and nylon banding, you wouldn't even have to be handy. Viola! Insulated white trash dog house. There's some dogs around here who'd appreciate it this winter.

Sad to say, but, this situation is not unusual. And I can't do anything, but, show pics to their parents and something tells me they already know. How could they not know?

I'm all for Darwinism with adults but not with little children. Someone has to stand up for the little tykes and hopefully, the parents will take appropriate action once informed. They obviously can't be that bright to begin with but maybe they'll act once they are made aware. Out of shame if nothing else.
The parents who send their kids to that daycare are probably just as bad as Fat Hog.
My mom teaches at a school where a lot of kids can't read for shit, even in the fourth or fifth grade. When she tries to talk to the kids' parents about it, it usually turns out that, surprise surprise, the parents can barely read for shit either. With a few exceptions, they don't care if they are ignorant and they don't care if their kids are ignorant. I imagine they are the same sort of people who would send their kids to daycare at Fat Hog's house and not care what went on there.
Still, definately try to show the parents what's going on. It's possible at least a few of them will be horrified and yank their children out of her care, which is certainly better than nothing.
Alerting a TV station sounds good to me. They're always looking for a story of kids being abused! Bring in the thought that there "might" be sexual abuse and you got it. Make sure you say "might".
They get a story and you get results!
Bayou Jane, I think falsely accusing people of molesting children is not the way to go. The facts as they are should be more than sufficient for action to be taken.
I make it a point to just "drop in" on my sitter. She's too perfect though-it's like she's always expecting me. lol
If that woman were my sitter and I went there and saw my kid in the street and no one around I would find her and BEAT HER ASS. Not even kidding-nobody fucks with my kids ever. I may even call up Jerry Springer to come film it.
The bitch is probably bringing in some serious cash, 14 kids $20.00 a day,5 days a week, something like $1400.00 per week. Damn right she'll try to kick your ass if you mess with that!

It does not surprise me at all. The apartment we lived in before we bought our house was owned by a woman that ran a daycare. She put those shop bells on the front and back door. That is so she can hear people coming.
She had been called on many times by parents but the state would come and all was well. It has been 12 years since we lived there and she still has her daycare. She has it all set up looking really good. Toys, education, meals, etc. But she liked to scream at those kids when she was in a bad mood.
She was always warned by the bells though.
She asked me once why my kids did not go to HER daycare. I just smiled and walked away.
There was no sense in me calling the state because she was always getting called about. They would come and leave and she would still be watching kids.
This shit goes on everywhere. Some home day cares are nice though. There's one here that I'd like to spend the day at, it looks like they have so much fun. This aint it though.
that house HAS got to be totally filthy inside. Not a clean dish in the place! Serving daycare kids meals? Riiight! It's probably whoever grabs the Cheet-os bag first! Every man for himself! Survivor Daycare!!!

omg, that is horrible. probably she is one of those who get paid from welfare to have a daycare in their home. she definately needs reported. those parents who walk up to that house & that person are either stupid as you can be, completely desperate for daycare or just dont give a damn.
