If you have a pet rodent, try giving it a bowl of warm milk. BeeBee loves it. I've learned to give it to her in a heavy ashtray so she won't try to carry the bowl and spill it. She also likes milk on her morning cereal.
She is too cute! I love her. Way back in the day I had a pet rat named Eli. I also had two different ferrets - Mugwort and Winter. That was at a long stretch of time wherein I did not have cats as I was mourning my longtime feline companion Fela Skydancer Cat, and could not imagine having another cat.
Lovely little creatures they are, and if I ever find myself catless again, a rat and/or a ferret would be topping my list.
BeeBee is the spitting image of my beloved Ajax. He passed away in 2007.*tear* In his final days he lived on bread soaked in warm milk. I still miss him so much. Rats make great pets....so much fun!
cute! a few months ago my son brought home 4 rats. 2 males & 2 females. i said, you are not keeping those rats! we already have 4 cats & 4 dogs, in addition to the 4 kids. we must have a magical connection with 4's. anyway, he didnt keep them seperate & of course my youngest went to check on them & started yelling, there are babies in the cage! im like, WHAT!!! so i go up & the one just had babies at that moment & the other one was ready to drop babies. my husband was having an absolute meltdown yelling profanities. the first one had 13, 2 days later the other one had 10 but one was dead when it was born. they are about 2 1/2 months old now & last month, even though the dads were seperated immediately into another cage, 3 of the babies were killed by their siblings &/or the moms & eaten. yea, that was a wonderful site to wake up to & my son wasnt home so lucky me had to take care of it. we had to seperate them all into 3 cages so it wouldnt happen again. my daughters one friend came & took 5 boys & 5 girls. we still have the 4 parents, 3 girls & 6 boys. my husband said he could keep 2 of the same sex but the rest have to go. there is a little runt that i have grown attatched to so i am keeping him myself. anyone live in the youngstown ohio or sharon pa area & would like a rat or 5? NOT FOR SNAKE FOOD THOUGH! these are all tame & have been handled since birth. the parents can bite, especially the moms occasionally but only when you put your hand in the cage. our hands are in there all the time & we just watch out for them, the babies lick you to death. ill send you some pics dd :)
I can't get enough of BeeBee. Just the cutest little rodent ever!
But I have to say Mr. Jingles (the mouse from the Green Mile) is a verry cute second place. I always loved the "cornbread" scene where little guy scampers across the cell sniffing the aroma coming down the corridor... awwww... :-)

i'm gonna have to try that with sherlock.
You'd better buy a whole cow for him. He's a big boy.
lmao!
"This milk tastes like Mad Men."
AWWWWWW Beebs is so classy drinking out of her bowl! She can teach a thing or two about being a lady.
She has her own little plates too.
Crabbie, that milk scene in Mad Men was disturbing.

RIP Ajax. You get attached to them, huu?
We always had ferrets too, they're adorable. We had this one named Bo who would sleep in a bowl of Popourii (sp?) and she always smelled sooo good.
