Houses I like, in town

That little blue house makes me sad. I've always loved it and a few years ago it was all icky with peeling white paint and missing porch rungs and no plants, but, you could tell it had good bones under the ugly..then someone bought it at auction and I was all happy for it, that it found someone to love it. Now it's all fixed and has a for sale sign again. They were just turning it over to make some cash. I guess that's fair, but, I wish someone would love it as much as I do. And I hope the next owners buy some trees.
*
I like the white one, it has some homey touches and a nice yard with big trees and a nice white fence around the back. It's bigger than it looks. Someone loves it very much, you can tell. They like country crafts.

I love that big old craftsman..it's huge. I know what it feels like to sit in that high sun room there, ..oh, and the porch wraps clear around the front. I like what they've done to it, with the creamy yellow paint and dark green trim. They love the house, but, they aren't fussy people..you can tell by the junk on the porch sometimes. They collect Hostas. Nosey, aren't I?

In my town the rich people have multiple cars on jack stands in the front yard.

The yellow one is my favorite. It looks inviting. I also have hostas, but mine don't do so well as it is soooo hot here and shade is hard to come by.

Escrow, geez, do you live in Appalchia? LOL!

I love houses with wrap around porches. Our future house must have one. It reminds me of Louisiana.

Escrow, do those cars come with or without the outdoor sofas and/or back seats of other cars? It's best to have the complete ensamble.

The outdoor sofa's are banned as a fire hazard. Jeez the town has not style sense

I agree about the trees. A house isn't a home without a tree. Around here people don't like trees because they screw up their lawns. They don't seem to understand how much a tree or two will help with their heat and airconditioning, not to mention the homey feel. I don't think they are home enough to "feel" their home.

I love the exterior design of the blue one, but my heart goes out to the interior of a craftsman style interior. The built-ins and details are so cozy and inviting.

Yellow. I want to live in a big nice house again. I like that one. It has huge rooms and a big entry way & dark wood staircase, I just know it does! Prob someone old lives in most of these houses, young ppl buy only new homes that they have built with all the modern features already built in. Have some imagination people!! Small homes are the envy now tho with the economy in the shitter. These would be hard to sell right now. No one can afford to heat them. I'm in central Indiana. Its the same here. Cold as a witches t*t and expensive to heat big beautiful homes.

Love the blue house. Flipping houses is a good way to make money.

Naseem...it USED to be a way to make a great deal of money. It is not possible right now to do it, not even in LA.

The middle one reminds me of the Amityville Horror house for some reason.

I like them all. They're all so..."American" looking, if you know what I mean.
