The journey of the Buddhist tomato

We just had a hail storm. All the ice was misshapen and sharp, none of it was balls. This small tomato with a bite in the side came slooshing down the street. I followed it. Mom came running out with an umbrella and said "Why are you out in this storm? This is a bad storm. This sure is a lot of water. You just waste film."
I said "It's digital." And she said "That's probably even more expensive than regular film. Why are you taking pictures of the street? The neighbors are looking at you. Why would you waste film and act like that?" And I said "Maybe it's art. I haven't decided yet." And she said "That's not art." And I said "It might be. Maybe this whole moment is conceptual art." And she said "Intellectual art, pffft." And I said "It's definitely not intellectual." And the small tomato with the a bite in it's side rolled into the rushing storm sewer....and I envied it.

I wish you had somebody to take a picture of her chasing you down the street in the rain. THAT would be art.

Wasting film. Ha ha. Digital more expensive. You can't make that stuff up???

LMAO I'm still laughing at your mom out in the storm asking you what you're doing out in the storm!!

And then you saying "this is not intellectual". ROFL! You can almost hear that comment break the sound barrier as it zings over her head!

Digital film....ahahahahaha!!!!

Anything showing water is art to me. Water has intrigued and fascinated me for as long as I can remember. Crashing in the ocean, calm lakes, babbling brooks, rain gutter, run-offs, or just sitting in a glass and reflecting whats around it. ALL of it's art!

Any picture can tell a story or simply ignite ones imagination. The lone sailor fruit may be on a mission to unite with floating pasta to create a sumptuous feast for a royal sewer rat. LOL, I better keep my day job as an artist and leave the stories to Pat!

Henry Fonda painted old wrinkled tomatoes in a sunny window sill. he was a fabulous painter. I wonder what his works go for? Or did his family keep everything? There should be a museum of his work. Dunno why, this just reminded me of it and MissTias comment. Love you guys.
