Helena Bonham Carter is the latest celebrity that celebrity T and A bloggers are picking on. Helena wears some seriously farked up fashion, she just seems to have no clue. Maybe she doesn't want a clue. But, I don't see anything wrong with her that a new bathing suit wouldn't take care of. It's not like she makes her living as a sex symbol. She just looks normal, more normal than usual. Not everyone needs to spray themselves orange either. Her kid is really cute.*
Does anyone else get tired of seeing women torn apart on T and A blogs just for looking normal? Why don't they stick to posting their massively implanted bimbos if that's what's so sexy?

more people should be celebrated for looking normal...it's this obsession with looking 'perfect' that creates eating disorders, and women's insecurities about their looks...
this is perpetuated by fat bloated middle aged men....studio heads who decide what the 'right' look is....
I don't read many blogs since i found yours. (oops, let me wipe the brown off my nose)
Brits don't have the same slavish tie to criticism as North Americans do. I have lots of Brit friends and they're just attuned to some other channel, it seems. Katie Price and her husband are some exceptions.
Rather than ragging on how she's dressed they ought to compliment the fact she's having some fun with her child.
It's a fiction people buy into. Go out on the street no matter where you live and you'll see oceans of, "REAL" people. The more they rag about skinny the heavier the masses become.
I think half the implants I see look way funnier than a regular girl in a one piece suit...
Her daughter looks happy. That is pretty much all that should matter.
Sadly, I found two sites with this photo and the commenters not only insulted Helena, but, her daughter as well, calling the kid obese. She's a baby.
The morons that call a sweet baby obese are the same disease carriers that kick puppies.
something i like about helena is that she doesn't really appear to give a fuck what people think about how she dresses and she can wear outfits with self-confidence and looks good in them....
lol, just 5 minutes ago posted something on crabbies about her probably looking better than he would in a red onesie. She looks like a normal mum on Holiday with her kids. Who cares if she has cellulite or a fat ass, most of us do or some other thing that certain type of men think we should be ashamed of.
I like HBC, she really is a nutty brit, eccentric in life as well as dress sense. Sure as hell beats looking like some cookie cutter plastic woman.
I'm sick of of normal women in the entertainment industry getting tagged for looking awful when they simply look normal. HBC doesn't care to be fake, she's not hiding herself. I think that's a hell of a lot healthier than the celebs who are living and breathing being skinny, tanned and young. She's got unique fashion sense, and she's also establishing a healthy example for her kid.
Jennifer Tilly got it yesterday too. She's 51 fricken years old and she looks absolutely wonderful! They snapped pics of her enjoying herself at a pool. No fake tan. No make up and I thought she looked beautiful. Leave her alone. Man it makes me mad. Those shallow bloggers tear everyone up and don't care how insane they sound.
She looks like a normal woman in a bathing suit who has two small children. The media and most of society pick people apart, especially women, because they are used to seeing celebrity mom's leave the maternity ward wearing their size 2 jeans.
God forbid you dont have a flat tummy 7 days after child birth because society will think you are a fat pig.
I too dislike implants and facial disfigurement in the name of "beauty".
These men and women that go to extremes trying to look perfect and end up perfectly fucked-up are the same ones pushing the in-look.
Rachel Zoe?, is that the fashion torch of enlightenment to all women?.
Natural, genuine women are by far more attractive to most men than the recycled titis they parade on rags like Playboy; is it any wonder it's for sale?, and that the entire stock is worth less than the mansion?.

I think she just needs a better suit. That one looks like it is either to big or to small, I can't decide which. The little kid is very cute, and they do look like they are having fun.
Seeing some really great comments on here, you guys are awesome! ;) Yep, I like HBC, too...and heaven forbid American society focuses for one minute on her TALENT and acting work as opposed to obsessing about her looks. And I agree, her daughter is NOT anywhere NEAR obese!! People can be sooo clueless!!

I think the problem is the outfit, not her body. It's a very unflattering bathing suit. Her boobs are hanging out the sides. She is not fat but the suit is too small.
Mariah Carey has the same problem. If you wear clothes that are too small, you are going to look fat, and you are going to be called fat on blogs. Just the way it is. Obviously Mariah doesn't care since she keeps shopping at Baby Gap for her clothes.
I like Helen. Always thought she was attractive. She isnt a follower so I doubt she gives a fuck about geek ass T & A bloggers. Just think before the bloggers can make fun of her they should post a pic of themselves so we can see why they have the right to judge.
Her & her husband Tim Burton have more money than all the people critisizing them. So "F" it. They dont care what people think. Not one bit. They are very eccentric and pretty cool. She kicks ass in her movie roles! She's cute!

Mariah gets called fat because people hate her and want to piss her off.
Mariah also looks fat though. That's what happens when you buy all your clothes two or three sizes too small.
I don't know why she does that. If she thinks she looks young, she is wrong. Even actual twenty-year-olds don't wear those teeny belly shirts anymore. How 1995.
Here's the thing: She doesn't have to give a shit about all this crap. She's got a great career, a happy family, and nothing to prove. She falls into the category of Laura Linny, Hope Davis, Emily Watson, etc: Really good actresses who are not media-whores trying to get photographed all the time and then pretending to be upset. They do their jobs and live their lives and their private lives are theirs for the most-part. When was the last time you saw Joan Allen in The Enquirer?
