Cute Halloween crafts for kids

These are cute, kids like making stuff. Lissa and I might try the egg carton one after work, since I only have one egg left. And the bottom one is a glove. Seriously..that's all you need to know. If you need instructions for either of these, well, you don't. So there. If you have kids and they make decorations for the holidays, I'd love a photo of them. 'Specially if they came up with something on their own. And I will post them..old warty witches will be accepted. Heh....cackle.

Cute!! A few years ago I had grand ideas of decorating for halloween. I got as far as recruiting my brother and neighbor to make ghosts out of white cardstock and cotton balls. I hung then using scotch tape near our front door. They lasted a good two years!!

Thanks for the great ideas. My daughter is an adult now but we take care of a really sweet little boys and she is always doing crafts with him. I have showed these to her and she loves them. She is also determined to decorate outside this year for Halloween. I told her it is all on her this year. BTW, Lissa is adorable!

Thought some of you might enjoy this. A post on Michael Bay's blog blasting Megan Fox. Basically, she is the most stuck-up, insecure, stupid bitch in Hollywood. But you already knew that.

I heard what M.F. said about the director, something about how he lacks social-skills...
What a total bitch!
Thanks for the link.

I love arts & crafts! Especially decorations, my favorite are seasonal wreaths, like what you see at Michael's..but better:)

Can't wait till Sam is older so I can do this with her! The tombstones are so cute!

I did a mini graveyard one year that was simple and not expensive.
I placed it where the kids had to walk through it to get to the candy. I got several bags of potting soil (that I later used for plants) for the graves. I had found some small picket fence looking flower bed borders earlier in a neighbors garbage. Broke someof it to make it look old. Got some tree branches, stripped of the leaves, for dead trees. I put some moss in the trees. Had a helium balloon canister I
had from a previous party and filled some smaller ballons covered with gauze--drew faces and tied to a stick stuck in the ground by the graves for the ghost. I had plywood scraps I used to make the head stones. I added light sticks to th graves Halloween night--laid them in the graves and coverednthem with enough soil so you couldn't really see the stick, just the glow. It really wasn't hard. I made it a small graveyard mainly because I had found the "fencing" and it was about 9 inches tall. So I worked around that. It really came out cute!!

My favorite craft (from a magazine) is roughly carving an apple into a face (must be done several weeks prior to October), then allowing it to shrivel and shape into a "witch" face! Then just use scraps/paper/etc. and build into a witch figurine....or whatever.
Sometimes they keep for years, sometimes they rot.....they ALWAYS look awesome and funny after several weeks of shrinking!
