Mystery of Easter Island's red hat solved

The red hats are round. They were found downhill from a quarry. There was a road from the quarry. After an extensive study, scientists have concluded that the red hats were made in the quarry and rolled to the statues. Whew.

Look at that "scientist" with her clipboard. Do you suppose her decades worth of research notes say "Round, might roll?" Sometimes my life looks meaningful in comparison to the governments programs. This one was paid for by the Brits, but, America leads the way in "research" finds paid for by...us.

It doesnt take a doctorate or even a high school education to figure that one out. I honestly wish I had a job like that! Get a gov't grant to go study some mundane subject matter, of some interest & historical value, only to surmise that the round things were rolled to the site! Wow! Glad I got that degree or I might not have figured that one out. Thank you, now hand me my $100,000 for solving that for you.
Now if someone can actually explain how the pyramids were built by hand w/o cranes & engines, then we can talk! Aliens probably did that tho so there will be no real explanation, as there is none. Amazing.

the pyriamids were built with rolling logs. lol - at least that's what they taught in school. personally i think there are many things we will just never know the truth about so why bother wasting millions of dollars figuring it out. To think - people are dying by the hundreds in third-world countries and we're worried about a stupid round rock.

and i know - where is everyone? i'm feeling very bitchy today and need people to have a bitch-fest with :P

This is sort of like when they spend a bunch of money to do a survery on something that is already obvious, like, "Most people say they do not like airline food" or "The majority of children say they would rather watch television than go to school" or something. They actually spend $$$ on this shit! It's so silly.

The pyramids were built with crude pulleys and massive slave labor.

Now where's my $500,000.00?
