New life for an old dresser

This is an old dresser Shmedelle had as a kid and she refused to throw it away, instead she revamped it for her daughter. I love that, it's a very creative use of paint. I love painted furniture. Great job, Shmedelle, I'll bet this gives a lot of people some good ideas.

That is really cute. Glad you have a daughter, I'm trying to picture it for a boy. I have two. It is just not as cute with light saber drawer pulls and glow-in-the-dark star stickers.

That is amazing! Any little girl (or grown up girl) would go nuts for that. Makes me want to go to a yard sale and find some old dresser now. Soon I will have room for things like that.

What a great piece. Your Daughter
can use that well into her teen
years and beyond if she likes.
Bums me out that I can not seem to be able to do things like that.
I'm looking at the Mums and bale of straw I brought this morning
and trying to figure out how/what to add with them to make a nice Fall display. I appreciate
creative people.

Noelle, you like that purple, huu? You could do it for yourself. I don't have any room. Boohoo.

Great piece!!! I couldn't decorate it with wallpaper the way you did (I'd have it sticking to my hair), but you did a great job. I bet she'll have that for her little girl when she grows up.

I did a little desk last year ($40--solid wood)--first time I've ever tried painting furniture and it turned out great (just very light lemon chiffon paint). I switched the original knobs for some glass knobs and I get so many comments about it. It's in my dining room.

The paint is by no means perfect, but that's all part of the shabby chic look, right?

OMG! I love it! That looks 10x better than painted stuff I've seen in shops for tons of cash. Amazing job!
