6teen ..The Five Finger Discount
Here we go, this is the ONE episode I've seen that doesn't deal with shit. Shit in your pants, big turd clogging your new boy friends toilet..etc. And this one has a charactor fucking a vibrating chair and another one shoplifting a coat. This is NOT APPROPRIATE! It's foul and perverse and the Cartoon Network pushes this thing on Saturday morning when little kids are in front of the TV with thier cereal. It's bizarre and pervy.

DD, I am so glad someone else noticed this besides myself...My little guy watched cartoons on this channel and I didn't catch it until I saw one show he was watching the other night..I had never seen such disgusting shit in my life to be on a child's channel. You never think you have to monitor what they are watching on a cartoon channel...but you do. They are vile, they are now blocked from his tv....

I have said it so many times before to my friends, and cannot understand why they let their kids watch such garbage. Spongebob is the shit though. Many (even some WB cartoons) are not suited for children. I remember when my brother and I were kids, we didn't have a tv in our room. TV was something my parents regulated striclty. We were not allowed to watch beyond sesame street and 321 contact, and the only TV was in our parents' room. Our parents fought to protect our childhood innocence with everything they could, so much that when I was 10, I heard another 10 year old in school talk inappropriately and I was blown away at the things she said. Several times we were sent to bed when the gnarly primetime shows or the news started.

I LIKE HER BLOG. I read it daily, and she always has some great insight, stories and funny quips.
I also think that she is truly a good person at heart, who just has a lot of problems. Or at least it seems this way to me. I don't know, I am just a fan.

I don't fit in with your description of DD's readers either. I am young, thin, educated and have been fortunate and ambitious enough to follow my dreams in life.
I have been reading DD's blog for a few years now and yes, she has had both craziness and sadness in her life. Nonetheless, she has a huge heart and her readers love her wit and her captivating stories.
Not only that, she has created a place of community where her readers can share their stories and show off their gardens, pets and loved ones. If you go through the archives you will see that DD always has a word of encouragement for personal stories and something kind to say about her reader's pictures.
If you want to disturb that, then who are you to be calling others vile and low-life? After all, you are the one making fun of other people's diseases and talking about poking animals etc.
All of these crazy exchanges came about because folks watched a family on reality TV for YEARS. Everyone saw enough behaviors to form their own opinions.
Most of us were very content to post on sites where we conversed with others holding a similar thought process, concerning this very public program. We were invited to watch. We did. We were encouraged to form opinions. We did. Standard fare for programing.
Others needed to come onto the blogs where we were discussing events we, "SAW" and attempted to edit our thoughts and words.
Now these same rabid women stalk posters and blog owners with ten times the tenacity and toxic venom thet we ever directed at Kate Gosselin.
They try to justify their dysfunctional obsession by claiming to dislike anyone who would put the Gosselin family at risk. Seriously now, when has a group of folks saying they hated someones choice of shoes ever done damage?
These rabid women have become obsessed with Lisa, DD, Moon and their readers because they are unable to form healthy relationships. They have never enjoyed a successful session playing in lifes,"sandbox." They watch and envy the pleasant exchange between others. What they say to and about all of us is a reflexion of their own existences.
It isn't about the Gosselin's and hasn't been for a while now. It's about the hatred that has always existed between those who, "DO" and succeed and those who simply wallow in their failures, too lazy, disturbed or ignorant to change. Hate is their sad repalcement for fulfilment and joy.
They take offense to language and then make toxic remarks about health concerns, spiritual beliefs and children. They praise God and then demonstrate domonic possession. It's folks like this who leave me utterly content with my atheistic views.
They hate Pat because she has the raw courage to address her reality and write about it with fluidity and skill. They hate Lisa's youth, beauty and prosperous lifestyle, They hate Moon for her outspoken tenacity and tireless attainment of her goals.
They hate the strength and intellect of these women because each has the charisma to attract a body of posters who like, respect and enjoy them. They hate those of us who share and exchange in a positive way because these dysfunctional women are lacking in the skills required to engage with others in ANY public of familial setting in a functional and enjoyable fashion.
They seek to edit because their misery seeks company...
I missed all this. I had things to do, but, you know, it just shows how interesting we are. The trolls don't have thier weekly Kate now and they're out of their minds with grief. Who's gonna teach them to abuse their kids for profit?
