My son and I wish to thank you all for your kind comments and offers. It is very appreciated. It was Michael's wishes to be cremated so we will have a memorial for him on his birthday (Jan,12th) instead of a wake. He has 6 brothers and sisters and I didn't want to make a sad Christmas for them and their families. Wishing everyone Happy Holidays and hoping you can be with the ones you love!

BJ, I am SO sorry for your loss. I know how much it hurts to lose a soul mate. Be easy on yourself. You never completely heal, but you will arrive in a spot where you accept what is, but it's a long road.
One thing that helped me get through, after the initial couple of, besides family and friends, was to watch movie after movie. If I could take my mind off grief for just a couple of minutes, I rested my mind.
