I laughed when I read about Ivana Trump being kicked off a plane in Florida for yelling at children running amok in the plane's aisle. How many times have we all wanted to yell..at the PARENTS who let their kids do anything they want? But, then I found out it was a baby who started it all. Ivana wanted the baby to shut up and yelled at it, calling it a "little fucker." How retarded. There is nothing to be done about a crying infant, it is the only way a wee one has to communicate discomfort. We all know that. What a bitch she is. Who raised her kids, a nanny? In a separate wing? One simply does not yell at an infant..it is not done, Ivana, and there is no reason for it. She was escorted off by police.

I admit I used to hate some of the annoying things babies and kids did until I had my own. Now I can tune out babies crying (as long as they're okay, of course) and I enjoy kids running around. Isn't that what they're supposed to do?
Well, I, personally, have a problem with people who don't make their kids behave in public. But, yelling at the kids won't help. Yelling at a baby is just idiotic and mean.
I've found a word to describe my opinion of her appearance and actions -- distasteful.
I read somewhere that she wasn't simply escorted off the plane, but because she refused to leave the plane when 'requested' - she was picked up and carried off. A fitting exit for her behavior, imo. lol

I called a little kid an annoying brat and the mother scowled at me on one of my latest flights. It was a toddler-sm child though. It was old enough to understand STFU. I don't have a problem with babies crying though. They can't help it and the pressure from the altitude really hurts their ears. All I ask of parents with babies is that they at least try to calm the child. Again I did not pay that much to get on a plane to listen to a kid scream the whole time.
On another note, kids running around on a plane or even in an airport is dangerous. Bad, Bad, Bad.

I was never around little ones until I had ava. She has taught me alot about babies. Never ever yell back. It makes them yell louder and longer. My hub use to tell her a few times to shut up. She couldnt help it. Since babies can completly comunicate with you its hard and frustrating to tell what they want.
Ivana must of never been around her children as babies. To much work for her.
She is looking pretty haggard lately. She must think that she is still 30 years younger.
Interesting that a baby was the start of this. What I read yesterday (on d-listed, I think) was that it was a toddler, or small children running in the aisles after the plane taxied out onto the runway. That doesn't even make any sense. What airline doesn't check to make sure everyone is bolted in place before approaching the runway?

I didn't know it was a baby. I kind of thought " good for her" when I first read it. But now that I know it was a baby..well, what the fuck are you supposed to do about that?
I read that she won't be charged with anything even though they had to stop the plane and escort her off. Yet another case of celebrities getting away with things non-celebs would get tossed in jail for. Disgusting.

I read once that babies on planes are in a lot of discomfort from the changes in air pressure. They feel that pressure and unpleasantness in their ears and don't know what it is. Crying seems the natural response to me. What else are they supposed to do? Adults understand what's happening and we still don't like it.
Why was she on a "commoner's" plane? I would give anything to see her stopped by the metal detecter. ANYTHING!!!!
Just realized her ear looks strange! Do you think they are that long? Looks weird! You would think the plastic surgeons could do something about that!
