I need more than pills, and I know it. I called the doctor's office and told them my symptoms (according to the net I should be in ER now) and this crazy bitch said, oh, I can get you in in 10 days. Like I'm supposed to be impressed with her kindness. I said, no, fuck that, I need in today or I'm going to ER and tell them about this phone call. I really did. She said I could come in at 3 pm. So, that's where I'll be this afternoon.*
I am not taking any more lame explanations, I want my heart checked and I want to be checked for embolisms. Enough of this bullshit. I can no longer lay down. I slept sitting up last night and I had a dream that I was driving a semi. I was scared but determined to learn to drive it. I got stuck on a dark deserted road and these weird cops pulled up and said, this is the end of the line for you, we've caught you now. And I said, wrong, buddy, look, I have a trucker's license. LOL. And I pulled it out an waved it in their face and then I woke up.

Thank you all. You know what pisses me off though? My docotor ignored me until I can no longer put things off and now it's 18 inches of snow and I have to scrape ice off the car with my one good arm today. I could not lift laundry to wash it. And I am down to my last pair of clean undepants and they are old and trashy looking. It just pisses me off. No one wants to wear old rag pants under one of those fucked up hospital gowns. That's awful. well, so be it. Maybe I'll flash them old lady rag panties.

Girl, I love ya' but you know what they are gonna say. "Stop smoking". And please do! We want you healthy, your family & Lis wants you healthy. This made me sick. I am 52 and have way too many friends/relatives with heart problems. I hope they find nothing serious wrong. I will be worrying about you. Thinking of you and sending my well wishes your way. I am so glad you are going to get w/e it is fixed! Good for you. I wasn't aware that you were so ill. You really don't complain about your health. As for the "we can see you in 10 days" bullshit. . . it has to stop. People in doctor offices with minimal education feel empowered to sit in judgment on if you should come in to be seen or how long you should wait. It's wrong. Totally wrong. Healthcare for the aggressive, is what I call it at work, and it has to stop. You shouldn't have to work so hard to receive care when you need it. Grrrrr. . . it just sets my teeth on edge.
