"Hailey Glassman is going to jail. It's a simple as that."
That's what Jon Gosselin's lawyer Mark Heller told RadarOnline.com in an exclusive interview, as New York police continue to investigate damage to Jon's apartment.
Police seized building security tape, according to Heller, who said the only person other than Jon with a key to his apartment is Hailey.
Heller spoke out after Hailey's attorney told RadarOnline.com that the situation appeared to be a "huge publicity stunt" and someone is trying to frame Hailey.
Heller fired back that security video will prove Hailey trashed Jon's apartment Saturday and left with his plasma TV and other belongings. He revealed that Jon's favorite Louis Vuitton shoes were shredded by some type of knife and a Ming vase that was in Jon's family for 100 years was shattered.
Police gathered fingerprint evidence from the knife and the handwritten note, Heller told RadarOnline.com. One source says that Hailey has admitted to writing the note.
"The building security tape will not lie and the evidence will speak for itself," Heller told RadarOnline.com.

Hailey was pretty mad when she moved out, her Twitter tweets told us that, but, until the police arrest her for this, I will keep an open mind. You know what makes me think this was a set up? The fact that Jon claims he had a 100 year old Ming vase. He says it was handed down in his family. I don't believe Jon had a Ming vase. I never saw anything like that on their show, in their house, and no indication that he collected anything like that. Hailey knows the value of art, and I'm talking about historic value, she was raised in a home with class. I find it hard to believe she could break a Ming vase. And why would Hailey steal a TV? Her dad could buy her a hundred new TV's in a heart beat. It is absurd. If she was really angry enough to destroy the apartment, she would have bashed the TV, not taken it. Of course she wrote the note, beyond that, who knows? This whole story reeks of something odd. Possible insurance fraud? Jon should have stopped with the LV shoes, that I believe. A Ming vase? No.

There are currently NO charges against Hailey.

I know dd. A ming vase.. Hello jon is koren. He is not chinesse. He has said this many times. My mom was from Korea my dad is irish. He is 50/50. So what is he going to say that when his mom was in Korea someone gave her a ming dynasty vase. YA RIGHT BULLSHIT.. Plus like you said we never saw anything like that on the show. Plus when jon lost his job and Kate was on the Please sir $$$$$ tour. You never saw them sell it for profit. Because it never existed. He is lying. I want to see a actual police photo that its broke and its a true ming vase.
haliey im so suprised because of this action. Jon gosselin was not worth it. She didnt need to do this to get heard or publized.
If he really owned that he would have already been forced to sell ot. If it was real, it was worth a fortune. Which is also why I agree with Pat. It doesn't exist. Never did. Kate would have been all over that, you kiddin' me? She would NOT have allowed him to take something of value when he left to go shcak up. No f'g way. He is a liar and he is the one that will face charges since this whole story is BS.

i think jon did it to get some sympathy AND the insurance money....he is hurting for money....no TLC paycheck, TLC has his nuts tighter than kate did right now with not allowing him to take outside jobs and he has child support to pay....
and what is some looser like him doing with fancy shoes!?!?
Easy come easy go Jon.
Hailey's fashion consultant is the one that should go to jail.

The Gosselin's are a bunch of douche's! I feel bad for their children.

Hah, that's exactly what I thought when I read about this. Jon with a Ming vase? Carrying it around from new apartment to new apartment? Sounds weird. Why would his Ming vase be considered "over a hundred years old" when that dynasty passed HUNDREDS of years ago? Sounds like someone didn't do their homework before starting this stunt. Still, they claim the shards are in the apartment, so I wonder what that will reveal?
My very first reaction was that Jon did this to himself for the insurance money, if he had insurance, and that this half Korean/ half Welsh-French guy would probably be ignorant enough to say "I had a Ming vase that was over 100 years old" when most people would know that a Ming would be priceless and many, many hundreds of years old. AS IF! I simply do not believe that Hailey, moving out w/ the help of her parents or not, would have done this kind of damage.
If Jon didn't do it, I wonder if it is possible that someone was hired to do it so Jon would be able to collect the money and have the alibi of having been in PA during the "break in"?
He knows nothing about any dynasty..he probably thinks Ming is a designer, like Christian Audigier. Hell, he probably thinks Ed Hardy is working at the mall.
Yeah, my first thought..if it was a hundred years old, it was not from the Ming dynasty. It was a fake.
They are both a bunch of twats. Something reeks of the whole story. Jon should just get a vibrating blow up doll. The only risks he would have is his batteries going dead. I think he has a few screws loose. Buying a gun and shooting it off on his property with the kids so paps would get pics, blowing through money and psycho chicks, worthless attorneys, etc... He needs a mental check up. And having to pay a ginormous child support payment with no job and not able to do paid publicity work as he is used to now is not going to help. It will make things worse. He is either going to have to get a real job and apply to lower child support to fit his income or TLC needs to let it go and let him get some publicity work while people still recognize his name. Hopefully "Gosselin" is a word that we don't hear to often in 2010. Yeah I know,,,, and rainbows will fill the sky and there will be no evil in the world. I can only wish.
This whole thing is such a mess. I wonder what Kate's thinking about all of this? And if Mady and Cara see what's going on with their dad online. What a mess!!
So, Hailey moved out Wednesday. She took her personal stuff still left in that apartment. She took the tv, pots and pans, the wii, etc. All stuff that she probably paid for and felt was hers. She no doubt wrote the note and most likely shredded a couple of pillows as originaly reported. Jon is not in a healthy state of mind and come back to the apartment on Saturday and went ballistic and caused the damage himself in a fit of rage. I don't think insurance fraud was even on his mind. He called Heller after he realized what he had just done and Heller is now trying to spin this to Jon's advantage. Ming vase. Ya right. It was probably bought at Pier One on one of Hailey and Jon's shopping sprees. There will be no tape of anyone going into that apartment since Hailey left on Wednesday.
escrow
I agree escrow.
somebody's gonna die. Just sayin'. This asian is gonna go off like that one on that Greyhound bus and that will be it. He's gonna lose it. I also believe the plasma TV was hers, he couldn't afford that! This was a super fast fall to poverty, eh? Couldn't happen to a lovlier guy!

more I think about this. It makes me think. If they did have this so called "ming vase". I bet you Kate and jon didn't know crap about it. They probably used it for a potty, garbage can, umbrella stand etc.
Jon probably pick up the vase at a ny thrift store. That had a little goldfish in it. The store owner told him that ming vase bring good luck to sad man.
Interesting...I read that supposedly the media was at the NY police station before the police notified them. Same article also said that TMZ arrived at the police station before the 911 call was made reporting the break-in.
Hmmmmm.............dang it Jon. I didn't think Jon could be any more stupid than he's already shown, but it looks like he's gone and done it again.
I don't see her carrying a big, flat screen tv.
Everyone here has already been all over it, but my first thought was Ming vase one hundred years old. . .and I googled Ming dynasty to check the timeline. Latter 1300's to 1600's. Uh huh.
I'm in the same boat with everyone else here. Hailey didn't do it. Jon did.
Yes, the ming vase in question. I remember it fondly from the Gosselin household before Jon moved out. It was in the corner next to the big contraption that held 100 pairs of dirty shoes!!! LOL. Didn't know Jon collected antiques or had family heirlooms. Would any of you give that turd a treasured family heirloom? Duh.
Hailey now says she has the TV.
All of this crap with the Gosselins, and still there are so many idiots who want to put themselves and their kids on reality TV. Some people never learn anything.
Not to take Jon's side (Hell, I'd take Kate's side before his), but I read that as the Ming vase had been in his family for over 100 years not that the vase was over 100 years old.
ahhh, that makes more sense. I still don't believe it ever existed though.
I disagree about Hailey. I think she is perfectly capable of doing all this damage. She is a woman scorned, in her mind, and she is a juvenille. So trashing his stuff would have been completely justified in her sick little mind. I don't disagree with most of you that Jon has behaved abominably this last year. But, and this is a big but for me, he was with a toxic woman for 10 years, a woman who emasculated him and treated him like shit. Because he is a personality that just likes to get along and is not confrontational does not make him a bad guy. I am married to a man who is non confrontational and he is the finest man I have ever been around (and we've been married for 42 years!). I think when he got out from under her thumb he went nuts. Lots of wrong choices, but that doesn't make him evil. I don't understand why so many have turned on him. I see him as a very lost man. A man who has been taken advantage of by a lot of people and I think he is hurting very badly. To sit back and watch that evil witch of an ex wife win every battle that comes along has to hurt very badly. We all saw him as a loving father. He was the one who loved those children and treated them like children much more than their mother ever did or ever could.
But I see Hailey as perfectly capable of and happily shredding, chopping and destroying his TV and all the other things she destroyed. As for her father buying her a plasma TV, she destroyed it because it was Jon's. I think she was having fun. This is all my opinion of course. I just don't see Jon as vicious or evil. I still feel sorry for him.
