Meissa sent me a ton of great photos from her trip and it was hard to pick ones to put on, they were all so pretty. From the beautiful beaches of California they headed up to Oregon. You just can't find better scenery. It's like postcards! I like the pic of Meissa and her hubby in front of the ocean the best. You two are the cutest and you always look like your just having a blast and enjoying life. Thanks for the photos!

Meissa, these are beautiful photos. You are your hubby make a sweet looking couple. Can't wait to see more. Thanks!
I love it when you post reader's pictures, DD. You've brought a nation of cool people together her. I would love a trip like this. I'm looking out at the first snow of the year, and boy it's pretty. Not so much in February, but it's so peaceful and white. And out there, someone reading this is outside in shorts with the sun on their face.
Oooh! Is that route 1 by the coast. I drove down there from WA to CA on it and the pics look familiar. What a wonderful trip, I love the scenery. Looks like you guys had fun :-)
I love your picture of the church or mission. Even though I'm not really a religious person, I've always liked to see churchec or missions. It seems like some of the best art work can be found in these places and I love the structure of these places. They give me a feeling of serenity. Not particularly because it's a religious place but because of the beauty.
Our older Catholic churches in the south are really ornate and I can sit in them for hours just looking! I'm not Catholic--I guess my religion would be that of beauty.
Coffeebean, yes we took US 101 from Davis (where we stayed the night) onto route 1, the road is windy and I had a bag of jolly ranchers with me, I get carsick and pukey! Took us about 10 hours to get to Burbank on that road. Coming back to Olympia we just dealt with I-5.
I'm glad you all enjoy my photos!!! We had such a great time!!
Cool! I got a little sick on that trip, just from looking down over the side. It's a long way down in spots, but spectacular. It was a little scary going into San Francisco too.
