Every year the first lady tries to outdo the former first ladies with a spectacular White House Christmas full of more and more outrageous themed crap..and I'm a total sucker for it. This year, Michelle is doing the PC green thing with recycled and natural ornaments. Well, really what else is left? But, there is no way anyone can top Laura Bush and her white Christmas. Nope..it can't be topped. And yes, I know she didn't do fuck all herself, it was 900 employees, she probably didn't even come up with the idea..still gorgeous Go take a look, there's some nice huge pics on there.

Yup, our tax dollars hard at work. I've been laid off for 2 years now and there are NO JOBS out there. Such extravagence in these times is deplorable. Bah Humbug! Hang all those trees upside down!

I know what you mean about no jobs, escrow. I live in a small town, there's nothing here either. The excess of our government tends to irritate me to, but, at least we can enjoy the pictures.

Sorry, I love the color yellow, but it has no business being featured on a Christmas Tree. Boo to M.O.'s choice in decorating.

escrow-I hear ya!!!! Looks like Mrs Obama has no taste anyways in decorating. Laura Bush probably did. I have always been neutral about the 1st Lady. But Michelle Obama kinda bugs me. Maybe it's because she's such a big woman. She's huge!!! Pat Nixon was a snooty ass bitch and demanded hi dollar items to replace what she didnt like ie: White House china for starters. Never liked her skinny ass either. Barb Bush was great, Laura was too. Hillary would make a great lesbian 1st woman president, never thot much of her as 1st Lady. Michelle seems...just BIG & scary!!! LOL

Michelle Obama has horrible taste. She dresses very badly. Belted ruffled tops? WTF?
Laura Bush makes me sick, always standing there adoringly next to her husband and acting like he could do no wrong, that bitch was such a Stepford Wife!

The sparkly white trees are beautiful, but just so cold looking. Reminds me of the Ice Queen in the Narnia movie.
I actually like MO's trees and mantle decorations. They look really homey and warm to me.
As for First Ladies that grate on your nerves, remember when Nancy Reagan called Rosalin Carter, and asked if she would mind moving out of the White House early so Nancy could get to redecorating? LOL! That takes nerve.
