Pulled for misleading advertising. I don't think it's that bad compared to most of them. Twiggy is older than dirt, she looks pretty good to me. They really didn't need to rub her out like that though. I got that off Crazy Days And Nights, which is an awesome gossip site. The dude hasn't sold out yet and he lives amongst 'em.

You can't believe anything you see in pictures anymore thanks to Photoshop.
Twiggy as depicted in these two photos looks like a woman with her daughter or granddaughter.
THIS is exactly why women and girls have so much trouble accepting themselves and the aging process when it happens. We wouldn't think we looked so bad as compared to the real Twiggy (and I don't know whether she's had surgery or not or how old she is), but if women her age are looking at the pic above and thinking it is real, then they are going to feel rotten when they look in the mirror.
Same goes for little girls and teenagers when they see the magazines and movies. Why must we portray ourselves as women in such an unrealistic way? What does it prove to anyone (other than being a sales pitch)?
I think the older you get the more unique you get. Just like a snowfake. Some of us get older with grace and some dont.
But with this add. Her top pic looks more like olivia newton john. Not twiggy and the bottom pic. Just shows you that twiggy has not got on the botox train. Good for her.. Someday all the stars putting all that werid crap in their skin will pay the price.

The top pic looks like Florence Henderson to me, and thats a compliment. She has aged well and still looks great. Twiggy looks like she just has laugh/smile lines. & Maybe thinish skin which doesnt hole up well. So much for being skinny! Your skin falls down. No fat there to puff it up! LOL. She is still pretty. I remember her from my youth. In her striped minis and huge spider eyelashes. She's fab still.

I'm glad they pulled that ad. Misleading bullshit. Now they need to start pulling all the obviously photoshopped magazine covers too. I'm tired of the photoshopping madness. It's so fake and ridiculous. And the celebs throw hissy fits whenever anyone accuses them of being photoshopped, even though they clearly ARE. What a joke.
I like Enty too! He seems fair. He is not afraid to criticize a celeb OR to take their side. And I love that he calls "People" magazine "Kneepads" magazine!

I just looked her up on wikipedia and Twiggy just turned 60 in September. She is almost a senior citizen and she looks really GOOD. We can't be 19 forever, and as soon as we all accept that the happier we'll all be. She looks happy and real. Obviously she has more going on in her life than her looks because she's not all caught up with trying to recapture her youth in that strange, creepy way that Hollywood endorses. She's 4 years younger than Priscilla Presley, and honestly looks much, much better. Which is sad, really, because Priscilla was a great beauty before she ruined her face. She would have looked striking well into old age.
