There I am today in my warm black robe, geezer reading glasses and a hat I bought myself for Yule. You know you're getting old when you wear one of these geek hats outside in public. I found a pink one, with ear flaps. It's wonderful! Jebus..I look like a demented Mrs. Claus. LMFAO! Classy.

I love the hat. I have a sock monkey doll hat with ear flaps. I also have a watering can purse I use in the summer. I figure you can't lose if something you're wearing or carrying causes people to spontaneously smile at you. Or in the case of the purse, initiate conversations about gardening.

I wish I could have been there today! I miss you. I tried calling my S.I.L. and Alissa today, but no answer. Hope to see you in a week or two, if I can get the car out. I got Dan's car stuck in two feet of snow today. Ty from maintenance was kind enough to come out on xmas, away from his kids at 9pm to dig me out. Such a nice guy. Hes gonna be getting my tips for the next month or so now.
Lots of people had to change there Holiday plans this year as the Midwest gets a dumping of snow. I have friends in Oklahoma very unusual for them to get over a foot. Had a friend on the way to Mexico to meet his family he's hung up in Dallas for a Day, I am really thankful I didn't have plans to travel farther than a mile.
All the wishing for white Christmas worked.

well hate to agree with everyone here Pat -- but I just love the hat too. You look so warm and cozy in it and I think it is a great picture -- although there is a devilish grin to ya lol.
