Prince Will spent the night on the cold streets with homeless people and then cooked breakfast for youths at Centrepoint, a home for young people with no home. Will the world change because a rich kid spent one night on the streets? No, but, people will see him out amongst the disadvantaged and some of them will reach out...just because William did. I think it's nice to see him doing these kinds of things, it makes me feel proud of him. The royal family does a lot for charity, they just don't talk about it endlessly, it's is considered unseemly, I think. But, Diana was different, she was right out there among the people and she was OUR princess too. We loved her and her children were sort of like nephews to all of us. It's nice to know they turned out well and don't think they're better than anyone else. Diana would be very proud of her Will this Christmas season. He looks so much like her, it's almost like we can see her smile again.

she would take them both to homeless centers to play chess with people there and mingle when they were young....she was very hands on...
she was so different & open and outwardly kind. Unlike the other royals. Not being born to it was a blessing for her and the ppl she touched. She was a real person. Wills is looking older now and more like his dad to me, in many ways. Di's coloring. Harry is gorgeous and also doing good deeds latley. She did raise them to care. Thankfully they aren't "too good" for the people.

I think he looks like his father....with his mothers kindness and heart.
It just goes to show that regardless of how wealthy
they are & the titles that they hold that we are all
portraits of the spirit of humanity 's one love. Kiki :)
I often think about Diana and how proud she would be about her boys!

I remember the day she died. I was in Ocean City, MD. in a hotel room. I can't sleep good on vacay, so I was awake in the middle of the night.I turned on the tv and it was all over the news. Of course I couldn't go back to sleep. I also remember my aunt and cousin set their alarm in the middle of the night to get up and watch her wedding on tv. Such a horrible way for such a wonderul lady to go. I think she would be so proud of her boys.
Good for Prince William. More celebs should follow his example.
So many things came out about her after her death. She didn't sleep well, and used to go out in the middle of the night, and work as a volunteer in a local hospital in London. Often. Not doing anything glamorous, just cleaning, or whatever they needed.
My husband never has understood how devastating her death was to me. I was in London right before the royal wedding, and decided not to stay. I saw the changing of the guards at Buckingham Palace, and the crowds there were terrible. I got there early, and it was difficult to see much. I figured it would be too much to deal with something exponentially greater like Princess Diana's wedding procession. I've always wondered if I made the right decision.
It's nice to see a piece of her still in the world, and the living legacy of her desire to help those less fortunate. She would be proud of her boys.
Christina, London is a place I deam of visiting.
