Erica Strange, (Erin Karpluk) a 30-ish career gal finds a paranormal therapist who can transport her back in time to fix regrets, with limitations, of course. When I first watched it I thought, Back To The Future, without Michael J. But, I recently watched some more episodes and the questions about fate and life and regrets and how they affect, well, they are becoming more complex and not easy to predict. Some of it throws me for a mental loop..which is enjoyable.*
On one episode I watched last night one of her regrets was losing touch with a girl friend because the girl friend was a lesbian who was attracted to her. So, Erica got sent back in time to fix it. Then, it became clear that they were love with each other. And I could see why Erica was in love with her friend (some great characters in this), they kissed, but, she couldn't do anything else because she didn't want to be labeled. But, her other friends found out and she was anyway. It's all complicated, but, I wondered why why why when the kiss was the intimate thing. In my way of thinking. And they kissed several times. The para therapist, Dr. Tom asks the question "You can't give your body to her, you can't give your heart to him, who can you give it all to?" For some reason, I think he's deep. And hot, played by Michael Riley. Anyway, I don't want to post a spoiler if you haven't seen the show. But, I will say, her trips to the past don't always have a happy ending and there are some things that cannot be changed. One episode, dealing with her brother made me cry. And I never cry over TV....unless I pretend Gordon Ramsey is yelling at me. Or Gregory House gets in touch with his "feelings." Then I cry tears of shame.

Sorry, I've never seen this show, but it does look interesting. I like unusual ending. Most shows are so predictable.
I wanted to give Biz some youtube videos that she needs to watch, but I haven't seen her on for a couple of days. Biz...if you're out there go to youtube and "New Orleans parade in honor of Buddy D"
I think you will like it! I have a couple more for you. Let me know.
never heard of this show but it is definitely an original premise and hooray for originality instead of remakes remakes remakes...
shit pat, i'm reading this and thinking that sometime soon you'll have clients asking you to transport them back in time....like that woman, transport me back before he said he was moving away!
I read a really good review of this show but still haven't seen it. I think I will make an effort to watch now - it sounds pretty interesting.
what a concept. who doesn't wish they could go back and change things. I know I do!
Oh this is a fantastic show! It's Canadian and 2 seasons have been shown here in Canada on the CBC. I haven't watched it on a regular basis but when I do watch its quite good.
I LOVE THAT SHOW OMG ITS HILARIOUS I THINK THE DOCTOR IS HOT WHAT ABOUT YOU TURTLES?
Love this-I didn't have high hopes for anything on soapnet but the previews looked so good I had to check it out. Even the hubby is hooked and we are usually polar opposites when it comes to TV watching.
Matt Heckman's site has been shut down.
Can I say something?
a BIG FAT FUCK YOU NBC!!!! GO FUCK YOURSELF!!! NBC IS THE SCUM OF TV!!!
Their self important TIIC think us West Coasters don't need to see the Olympics in REAL TIME, even though the REST OF THE FRICKING WORLD is. Among other things.
I'm done watching NBC. They have lost me as a viewer tonight.
DD, I'm just curious about where you watch this show? It's on all the time here in Canada but who is carrying it in the States?
i love this show! -G
soapnet carries it in the states
It's on Hulu too. They have most of the eps. And some on You Tube.
I'm with you valle, I always wish I could go back in time if not to change things at least to review them. I always wonder "did I read that situation right" or "if I look at it from a different point of view would I have done things the same?". Sometimes even hindsight isn't 20/20.
