Billboard placed in Georgia by an anti-abortion group. It's supposed to make black women get outraged. Yeah, I'd think it would, since it's basically assuming poor black women can be easily manipulated. They should give the cash that ad cost to some family living in a car. Everybody has to have a damn cause.

those anti-abortion groups are stupid fucks....why not use the money for that billboard to donate to charities that help struggling pregnant women? oh right, they couldn't get attention that way....

That one is real intelligent. I am pro-choice. If a woman has no other way to deal with her situation, then thats her business. I do not judge. I love babies but I understand both sides. I understand poverty too and sometimes that decides for you.
Take it in stride. Many of these pro-life dip shits are the first to line up at the clinic when they get pregnant behind Jesus' back.

The uneducated ones have lots of children because each child is a check. Those who have fewer children do so by choice and because they are educated and work for an income and a certain lifestyle. These two classes of blacks do not intermingle, from my experience in the pblic school system. Just as they segregate themselves by skin tone, they do so by family size and values.

I may be wrong, but don't black children make up the majority of kids in foster care? If these people spent the money used on anti-abortion advertising for teaching safe sex instead, they'd prevent far more pregnancies than abortions.

I hate pro-lifers. They are complete hypocrities. How many times do these women protest in the picket lines and then 1 week later they are getting their abortion and then 2 weeks after that, they are back in their picket line screaming murderer. I would rather have millions of women have abortions, then have millions of children become abused and neglected.
What was that study done in the eighties? The level of crime decreased due to abortion becoming legal. The amount of unwanted abused children were not born which meant that those children did not commit crimes. If that is not a wake up call I do not know what is.

What is everyone so up in arms about? This billboard is a fact and the numbers of black women having abortions is three times that of white woman, so quit whining about what is true.
I looked up some facts and blacks make up one third of Georia's population, but, I wonder what the economic statistics are? I'd wager that poor black women out number rich white women.

pro-lifers will bomb your ass if you oppose them. And they do so with the intention of killing Dr's, nurses and patients. It's been done many, many times. How hypocritical is that? Thats murder, what do they call it? I have never understood that. Those clinics also give girls the pill, the next-day pill and condoms when they ask. Free pregnancy tests also. Most girls there have no insurance or money or resources to support a family. And I also believe blacks have more kids. Thats always been the case. So, whats the point of this anyways?
I heard a great quote on the show "Law &Order" about fanatical pro-lifers:"'They want the baby to come out. After that, they don't care what happens to it." So true. Maybe these people should offer free baby-sitting services for struggling women, or buy them baby food at no charge, or something to help out. But no, all they want to do is bully women into not having abortions. Then they take off because they don't give a shit what happens to the baby as long as it's alive. But there are worse things than death.

Lia, I agree that the world is never black & white. It's the colors in between that make it worth living and people who don't see that live a very dull life.
I had a family member tell me that poor black woman with tons of kids should be out working then he turned around and said white women with a lot of kids should all be "stay at home moms".
That confused me.
So did the people that told me that having alot of kids was "family values" but minorities with a lot of kids were "welfare queens".
So I only had one because that was all that I wanted, and I worked full time.
And I confused them all.
Have you noticed that Maury goes after the 12 and 14 year old girls who have had babies but never goes after the "men" who impregnated these children? Some are 18 and of legal age to be prosecuted for rape.
