Casey just walked in and I was happy when she said the adoption was final. Then she said Niki was mine! I get to keep him. OMG, I missed him and I'm so happy. I have a dog!

Man!! I'm really not doing well. He has a blue COLLAR. Please forgive me Niki!!!! My excuse is a have a bad sinus headache. I'm allergic to mold and mildew and it has been raining almost everyday and it's due to rain again tonight. It's like snow is your curse---ours is rain. But at least when it stops raining, there's not 3 feet of rain left behind. But the ground is mushy and moldy.

Awwwww, Niki is such a sweet little furbaby. Is he a toy or miniture? We had a black standard (named Nicky) when I was a kid. He is going to be such a joy in your life. ... just don't let the old ladies get near him. So happy you were able to adopt him.

All the brands of dog food bima mentioned are excellent foods. I feed Wellness and real food and both dogs (age 2 & 3) have no medical issues and never been sick. Hoefully you will be able to find them locally otherwise you can get them online.

I worked with various pet rescues. Giving a pet a second chance is wonderful for both of you. While I've never had a poodle, all the ones that I've met are very smart.

On an off topic note. There is a report of a monster snow storm coming to the NE Thursday and Friday.
From Accuweather At its peak, the storm will deliver near hurricane-force wind gusts (74 mph) blinding snow falling at the rate of over an inch per hour. For some people in upstate New York and eastern and northern Pennsylvania, this may seem more like a "snow hurricane" rather than a blizzard.
Cities likely to be impacted by heavy snow for all or at least part of the storm include: New York City, Albany, Rochester, Syracuse, Binghamton, Scranton, Allentown, Reading, Williamsport and Burlington.
I hope everyone in that vicinity takes cover and stays safe.
Nikki looks like a lover boy! Now you have someone to sleep with, DD. Our big boy still thinks he's a small puppy and takes up a lot of room in our bed but we could never kick him out. I am so happy that Casey surprised you today!!!

lol, yes Bohemianmoon, or when you walk around the corner & see that they've dug themselves a place to lay down in the very middle of your flowers that are now everywhere but where you planted them & just discover it's easier to plant around that spot in future.
Everyone needs a pet. Maybe you can teach her to bark at the realtives when they come by. Then better yet insist Niki come for "rides" when they want to go somewhere. Get one of those harness for the back seat where you can stick your Aunt.
He's just the best, most well behaved little dude! I love him and he's going to work with me. He never has to be left alone here or kenneled. He seems really happy.
