I had a long day yesterday, I had to go to Omaha to yet another brain doctor. Hey, here's news for the trolls..they found a brain in my head. Shocking isn't it? Anyhow, I came home exhausted and flopped on the couch with my faithful dog and turned on the TV. Hey, the Duggar's were on with their latest kid. The baby, number 19, is looking good. She's very small, around two pounds now and is still in the hospital. But, I was glad to see she's doing okay. The family has moved closer to the hospital to be near the baby and I was interested in seeing how that worked. They are in a much smaller house now. It looks like mom spends a lot of her time with the baby, so the older girls are in charge of things at home.*
I'm not a fan of the way Jim Boob and Michelle pawn off the little ones on the older girls, but, in this circumstance, well, they are a family, right? The older girls had things pretty much running smooth and were cooking a big meal for the rest. They were having Hormel canned chili over mashed potatoes (never tried that) and corn and I think some green beans. The mundane activities of such a big household fascinate me and I really was interested in seeing them cook for their siblings. The girls were kind and patient with the help of their somewhat bratty little brothers and said "Their intentions are good" with eye rolls and smile. It didn't seem fake.

The older boys were left at the home place to take care of things and they had frozen pipes in the well house spewing water by the gallons. They did some plumbing repairs by themselves and it was pretty interesting.

Now comes the stupid part..with everything going on in the Duggar's lives, TLC decided to send Dad and the kids to visit a submarine. WTF? I do not give a fuck about a free trip to a submarine and neither did the Duggar kids. The little ones bawled because they were scared of it and the older ones looked like they wanted to go home. Gee, golly, look! There's a toilet where sailors go poop! Ummm, no thanks. One girl stared at the camera and said "It's, umm, educational." Que card reading for the home schooled. No one gives a fuck about the Duggar's in a submarine.

I hope the Dr apt went good dd and your feeling better soon. Ya the duggars are BORING.. I really think we all are so sick and tired of reality tv. Its all the same. Just waiting for the tabloids to start stories on this family to keep them on tlc network. I saw something that momma micheal has a lesbian sister ( big whoop) and that they are all part of this cult. That believe in making a army for god with children. ( I wonder if it was from the tlc camp wrote this?)
Glad to see that number 19 is doing good. But I hope this is it. I don't think she can have anymore. Let the older ones get courted and have the babies.
ITA DD. It is boring. When I saw where the TLC machine was sending them for another show I didn't even watch. Boring is right.

I went on a submarine at the Baltimore Inner Harboe before. It was so hot in there I felt like I couldn't breathe. I couldn't wait to get out and yes my kids hated it too.I have a funny pic of my daughter looking miserable on the sub .when I was trying to get her to smile.The only sub I wanna see is Cheesesteak!

I don't find the Duggars that interesting, except for what you said---the details of how their life works. I have no interest in any of the field trips, and if I decide to watch an episode, it certainly won't center on one of those.
Glad to hear that little Josie is holding her own so far. I think that Michelle should stop breeding, but I doubt she would see the wisdom in that. We can probably expect babies until she doesn't survive a delivery, or until her ovaries dry up and say "no more eggs for you!"
